Nivea Q10 Firming Lotion; Review

Today's review is on the Firming Lotion by Nivea.

I first bought this Lotion back in February when I was looking for something to help firm up some of my problem areas such as my thighs, Arms and stomach. So when I was browsing in Superdrug at all their firming lotions I came across this one on special price drop at £3! Normally £6.79 and ever since I bought it back in February I haven't stopped buying it! Every time I am close to running out I go and buy another because I just don't want to be without it, That's how good I feel it is.

I have always been a fan of Nivea skin care so I was pretty happy with buying Nivea products for my skin. I have never had any problems with them such as break outs etc... So I definitely thought this would be a good buy for my skin. Now lets get down to business.

First off what Nivea say about it; What Nivea say about it; "Skin looks visibly tighter and firmer with Firming Body Lotion Q10 Plus" "Noticeably firmer and smoother skin in 2 weeks"

How to use; Massage in upward circular motions all over your body daily.

At first glance I could definitely tell it was a Nivea product, It does have their signature Logo on it after all and it is pretty big so you couldn't miss it. The bottle looks crisp and clean in my eyes. The bottle is white with nice bold blue writing which means you can read everything that you need to with ease. I really liked the packaging at first glance and I still do like it.

Once I got home I unpacked all my shopping, took my new products up stairs and left them out for me to use after my bath. I went for my bath then it was time to use my new firming lotion! I opened it to smell it and wow! It's very perfumey which worries me slightly because I haven't had great experiences with products like that in the past but never the less I want to try this and see what happens with it. The smell is very very strong but it is a lovely smell and I have no problem walking around with that scent on me. The consistency of the lotion isn't too thick or thin which I like, It's nice and creamy. The cream spreads very evenly! this is definitely one of my favourite points of this cream. I hate creams that don't spread well as you feel you have missed lots of areas on your skin so you end up over using the product. The cream absorbs relatively quickly but I do feel my skin stays sticky for a while afterwards which isn't a great thing when you have a cat and a dog running around! all their hairs seem to stick to my leg. So to counteract this I always put on long pj bottoms now instead of shorts to protect my legs from being covered in cat and dog hairs!

I told myself I would give the cream 3 weeks before I looked for a difference and made a permanent judgement on it. So 3 weeks after my first use I looked in the mirror and inspected my body for a difference and to my surprise there really was a big difference! My thighs are noticeably firmer, my stomach is too and my arms feel much better. Not only has it firmed my skin, It has also left it feeling hydrated and smoother! I am definitely happy with the results.

All in all the product is one of my favourites. I can't not have it in my life now. So I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a problem area they want firming. Just give it time but as always with products, what may work for one may not work for another.
My favourite parts of this product are; The smell is long lasting, A little goes a long way, My skin feels more hydrated, My skin is firmer and the packaging is robust.
