#mamamail Project

A few weeks back I signed up for #mamamail hosted by Thepaperdashery, I signed up to send some mama mail and to also receive it, as lately I have been feeling stuck. I wanted to sign up to this project to send some happiness to another mother who may feel like they need some words of encouragement and a care package. I really think that the #mamamail project is a great idea because it helps spread kindness and you can connect with other out there who may feel like they need some help/advise or even just a few words to motivate them.

You can find out more about this project here; Thepaperdashery

A few days after signing up I got my mamas details through, it was time to make up a little parcel for her.

This is what I chose to send the mama I got:
Thomas the tank engine book for her little boy.
Mini bath bombs
Face mask
Hot chocolate

I then wrapped it all in some silver tissue paper and ribbon. I wanted it to look as cute as possible, and like a present as that's what it is. A little care package. When packing it all up I kept thinking to myself "I hope she likes this"

Once I sent the parcel out I received a comment on my Instagram about a week later from the mama I got letting me know she received her package and that she liked it, I was very pleased!

So as I said before, I also signed up to receive, I have been a little down lately and I have felt like I have been trapped and just needed some encouragement and to know I'm not alone. I got a beautiful package from a woman Emily who left her Instagram for me, so naturally I added her and thanked her.

It came in a little home made box which is just super cute!! And I also got a card with a cat on it!

Once I opened the box I cried! I got some beautiful things and I am just super grateful for everything I received. I never imagined I would recive anything so nice.

I really think the #mamamail project is a great idea and it gives people the chance to communicate and make new friends.

What do you think? Do you think this is a good idea? Let me know in the comments below.
