Review │ Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb By Lush

Shoot for the stars was a bath bomb that I just had to try but never really got around to picking it up because I always seemed to go for old faviourites or found a new bath bomb I wanted to try more so Shoot for the stars was often put on the back burner until November of 2015 when I decided that it was time to give this beautiful little bath bomb a go! And oh boy, Am I glad I did! Everything from the look to the way it makes the water feel just gives you one of the best bathing experiences you can find.

First off the appearance of this bath bomb is just super cute with a beautiful blue main colour with a white shooting star on the front with some yellow and pink scattered throughout the bottom to give you that night sky ambiance. It is definitely one of my faviourite designs from Lush so far and when it hits the water the scene of a stary night is created. It's easy to see why a lot of people fell for this product.

Shoot for the stars is one of Lush's longer lasting bath bombs as it takes around 10 minutes to fully dissolve but that doesn't mean that it is a slow starter because as soon as it hits the water a beautiful shade of blue starts to fizz out into the water with some yellow and pink/purple to create a beautiful stary night sky in the comfort of your own bath. This truly leaves you wanting more because when it finished I wished that it had kept going, I found it very therapeutic to watch.

The scent of the bath bomb is just stunning, I always find it very hard to describe smells because to me, everyone experiences them differently so all I can say is that you definitely get the hint of citrus with a homely scent to match. It isn't overpowering and it lasts the whole bathing experience.

The water is also left feeling great as with all Lush bath bombs, I felt pampered for sure with silky skin that was hydrated. The bergamot oil definitely takes your skin to heaven as Lush say.

All in all this product really satisfies from start to finish with a beautiful scene created in the water with the beautiful blue tones and yellows tied in with some glitter and stars and a scent that leaves you feeling pampered from head to toe. I for one cannot wait until next year because this product better come back! I am very annoyed at myself for not trying it sooner.

What do Lush say?
"Paint the night sky
Launch this one in the water and watch it shoot and spin. Stay very still to see the swirling colors of the night sky dazzle in your bathtub. As the calming blanket of shimmering midnight blue unfolds, Brazilian orange and bergamot oils take your skin to heaven as your mood rockets straight up to the stars."
