#MeetTheBeauties ││ Sophie's Notebook

Hey Everyone and welcome to this weeks installment of #MeetTheBeauties. Today is all about Sophie from Sophiesnotebook.
This girls blog is really great, I enjoyed reading her post "I'm Not Interested in Building an Email list and here's why" I think what I loved about this post is that I relate soooo much to everything Sophie has to say on the matter. I would strongly suggest checking it out after this interview.
So without further adieu, Lets learn a little more about Sophie.

1: Tell us a bit about yourself.

My name is Sophie and I'm a 19-year-old apprentice marketing assistant from Derbyshire. I love chocolate brownies, Maroon 5 and vintage campervans and my favourite place in the world is York.

2: What is your blog name and how did you come up with it?

My blog is called Sophie's Notebook. I decided on the name because I wanted my blog to be like a diary but Sophie's Diary was taken so I settled on Sophie's Notebook.

3: How long have you been blogging?

I've been blogging since January 2016 so I'm still a newbie I think!

4: Who/What Inspired you to start a blog?

It's a really boring story but I started my blog so I could get some experience with Google Analytics for my job.

5: Do you have a tip you can share for new bloggers?

Schedule your tweets and make the most of blogger retweet accounts! The people who run those accounts are heroes of the blogging community.

6: Tell us a random fact about yourself.

I was named after a fishing boat in Whitby harbour. It was called Sophie Louise but it's since changed it's name to Ocean Harvest.

7: Is there anything you know now that you wish you knew when you started blogging?

Yes, I wish I knew just how much work goes into writing a post, taking the images and maintaining a blog. It's so much more time consuming than I ever imagined! I love blogging but I think if I'd have known how much work it involves before I started I probably would have thought twice about it.

8: Describe your perfect Night in.

Lounging on the sofa watching Inside Out with Domino's pizza (specifically the stuffed crust house special roast chicken pizza) with Ben & Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie ice cream for dessert.

9: Looking back, Do you have a favourite post/topic that you have talked about?

I love my honest posts where I just write whatever I feel about a particular topic. My post about how blogging might not be for me (http://sophiesnotebook.com/2016/04/maybe-blogging-just-isnt/) and my post about why I'll never have a blogging schedule (http://sophiesnotebook.com/2016/03/dont-blogging-schedule-probably-never-will/) are two of my all-time favourites.

10: What are your links, where can we find you?

Quick Fire Round

Bus or Train?
I get really anxious on trains but you can go so much further by train and I always find the journey really exciting. I don't know why!
Beach or Pool?
I hate getting sand in my clothes and shoes but there's something special about paddling in the sea so I'm gonna choose the beach.
Cats or Dogs?
I absolutely adore both, but I have to say cats are my personal favourite. My favourite cat is White Coffee Cat. You should search for him on Facebook and Instagram, he's the cutest little thing!
Bath or Shower?
I don't actually have a bath so I can only have showers. Plus I can't try all the groovy looking bath bombs from Lush. Boo hoo!
Pizza or Pasta?
This is a tough one! I'll have to choose pizza though because I don't think anything is better than pizza.
Night in or Night out?
Night in. I'd rather lounge around in my PJs than go outside. Although I do love getting dressed up for a night out every now and then!
Music or Movies?
Music. I could listen to music for hours but there are only a couple of movies that I can watch without getting bored halfway through.
Fizzy Juice or Hot Drinks?
I absolutely hate fizzy drinks but even though I don't drink hot drinks very often I still like them so I'll have to choose hot drinks. Tea and hot chocolate aren't too bad!
Chocolate or cake?
Cake, I loooove cake! Especially chocolate cake and Victoria sponge cake.
Netflix or Amazon Prime?
It's got to be Netflix. I don't think you can watch Orange is the New Black on Amazon Prime and that's a deal-breaker for me!

Drop by next week for another installment of #MeetTheBeauties Interview series.
