#MeetTheBeauties ││ SMABL

Hey Everyone and welcome to this weeks installment of #MeetTheBeauties. Today is all about Sticky Mud and Belly Laughs.

1: Tell us a bit about yourself.

Hi i'm Jayne, I'm 36 years young! I am happily married to Craig my bestie and together we have two little cheeky boys known over on the blog as, Monkey (6) and Teeny man (22 mths).
I'm a work at home mom and also homeschool Monkey, so always a busy household here.
We are also a heart transplant family after Craig suffered sudden heart failure at 34 and received his transplant.
You can either find me slogging away on the blog, getting distracted on Facebook, or playing superhero's with the boys.

2: What is your blog name and how did you come up with it?

The name of my Blog Sticky Mud and Belly Laughs came from my eldest son. Every time we passed a muddy puddle on our walks, he just had to have a splash (as kids do) and he used to yell "sticky mud" and the belly laughs came from his infectious laugh. So my son inspired me to name the blog what I did.

3: How long have you been blogging?

I have been in the wonderful blogosphere for 2 1/2 yrs.

4: Who/What Inspired you to start a blog?

I initially started blogging to record moments and milestones of my family and little one, like an online diary if you like. But overtime it has become part of my work.

5: Do you have a tip you can share for new bloggers?

Be yourself, stay true to yourself and write about what you love. The more honest and genuine you are, the more people are going to stick around.

6: Tell us a random fact about yourself.

I HATE wasps. They just always seem to home in on me. And then I have to start acting totally ridiculous and throw my myself about until they decide to fly away pffft!

7: Is there anything you know now that you wish you knew when you started blogging?

I wish I had set up on Wordpress instead of Blogger at the beginning. If I knew back then that there would be a possibility of turning a hobby into part of my income, then it would have made things so much easier.

8: Describe your perfect Night in.

My perfect night in involves a good film or box set, when the kiddies are in bed, some munchies, a drink or four and cosying up under the duvet on the sofa. I'm on the Cambridge diet now though, so just the boxsets, I'm so rock and roll!

9: Looking back, Do you have a favourite post/topic that you have talked about?

It has to be 'A letter to my husbands heart transplant team'. This post really came from the heart and made me realise just how precious life can be. Tears were flowing whilst writing this.

10: What are your links, where can we find you?

  1. What a great series you've got here! It's introducing me to so many bloggers I didn't know before.
I can't imagine how stressful and scary it would be to go through a heart transplant so young, sending Jayne and her family lots of love.
