Review Sabai Soaps Kaffir Lime

Hello Lovely People
Today's post is a review of the Kaffir Lime handmade soap by Sabai Soaps

I was kindly sent this bar of handmade soap by Sabi Soaps to review which was extremely awesome of them! I recieved a full sized bar (100g) of their Kaffir soap, I was told that this soap is perfect for most skin types including children which is perfect for me because Leon could have a little try of this. The Packaging is a beautiful Green and white paper with a stunning Thai design on it with the saop Name very visible. So far I am fairly impressed by the overall look of the soap.

Sabai soaps are a natural brand who have an array of soaps on their website. They are 100% natural, organic and suitable for vegans. Brands like this are always a winner for me as I am looking into vegan, organic products a lot more now as I am educating myself in different ingredients etc... Sabai Soaps are based in the UK but they do deliver worldwide which is fantastic!
Sabai Soaps was founded in 2015 and they have a clear mission to bring Handmade soaps with exotic scents, amazing beauty products from Thailand to the UK. You can read the full story HERE and I definetly recommend you do because I am so glad I now have some info into this beautiful company. One thing that had drawn me to Sabai soaps is that 20% of the profits from their handmade soaps go to "charities and NGO's who do fantastic work in and around Thailand." This let's me know that the company has great moral standards. I also love love LOVE the fact that they have a range for skin with Eczema and to me that is amazing because this is something that directly affects my life as my son has eczema and psoriasis on his skin and trying to find products that won't flare it up can be very very hard.

I have been using this soap for around two weeks now and I've noticed that with this soap that you do get a good lather which I love, nothing worse than using soap and you feel like it isn't cleaning you! My skin also felt really good after use and I know that's down to the ingredients that are used in the soap as there is Rice Bran Oil which is used for hydrating, ward off signs of aging and has UV protection. I have found my skin has this lovely feeling afterwards and this paired with using a great moisturiser ( I use Body Shop Vitamin E Cream) then your skin feels so silky smooth which is a great feeling to say the least. Not once whilst using this soap have I thought "maybe this isn't for me" because I have really enjoyed it, from the very first use. I also tried this with leon a few times and not that he really has an opinion of it because let's be honest he couldn't care less which soap we use as long as he can bring his cars in the bath haha! But I enjoyed using this on his skin because not only does it smell nice, I noticed some of his red patches starting to dull down which really impressed me! I think that I am going to buy more of their soaps from the Eczema range for him because I have enjoyed seeing his skin improve as I haven't found anything yet that works just how I want it to.

I must say that this soap has been a pleasure to use and I'm so glad that it has been such a great experience. The Kaffir Soap smells fantastic, feels great on the skin and lathers up brilliantly for a hand held handmade soap.

** Inspired by the oriental citrus this Kaffir Lime handmade soap has a refreshing scent and with regular use helps refresh and tone your skin. The rich creamy lather ensures your skin feels moisturised and fresh after use.  The bar is 100% natural and cruelty free.

Some of the natural oils used include:
  • Rice Bran Oil which not only hydrates skin, but also protects from UV rays and helps to ward off the signs of ageing.
  • Vitamin E which is extremely nourishing for and protects your skin.  Regular application on the face helps to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles and can keep skin tight and firm.
  • Kaffir Lime Juice has been used for skincare in Asia for generations and slows the breakdown of cells to minimise the appearance of age marks, scars, and pimples. **
All in all I have LOVED using this soap for so many reasons but the main one has been seeing Leon's skin improve. I would definetly recommend these soaps to anyone as they are perfect for most, if not all skin types plus they have a great range available.

*I recieved this soap for free but all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own*
