#MeetTheBeauties ││ Lyliarose

Hello Lovelies and welcome to this week's installment of #MeetTheBeauties. Today is all about LyliaRose

1: Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a busy mum of two children under 5 who also works, runs a small business and blogs in all my spare time! I live with my husband Ben and we bought our first home together two and a half years ago so we’ve been doing up every room and the garden since moving in. We’ve still got about a year of work to do! It’s been keeping us very busy. I'm a vegetarian who is passionate about healthy eating. I'm also wearing a brace as I still had some baby teeth!

2: What is your blog name and how did you come up with it?

It’s Lylia Rose. It was originally my Etsy shop name when I made handmade cards in 2012. It evolved into a jewellery store, then I set up my own website. I accidently became a lifestyle blogger through my website and I decided to just keep it all in the same place under the same name. I think it’s such a pretty name though!

3: How long have you been blogging?

Almost four years which is crazy. I started in April 2013.

4: Who/What Inspired you to start a blog?

It was originally for the benefit of my small business to try and get traffic to my website and increase sales. This is how I accidently became a blogger! I started to blog about other things – life, family and passions, and quickly loved it! I’m now a fully fledged lifestyle (and all sorts) blogger!

5: Do you have a tip you can share for bloggers?

Blog about what you want to blog about and try not to get sucked in by all the ‘how to blog’ guides. If you’re happy with your blog and topics, that’s the main thing.

6: Tell us a random fact about yourself.
I have a tiny little finger. It comes up to just above the first knuckle on my ring finger and it is meant to reach the second knuckle. It looks really funny! I bet you’re checking where your little fingers come to now!

7: How do you find inspiration for your posts?

From all around. Things we do as a family, ways my children are developing, topics that fascinate me and I want to research and learn more about them. I also write a lot for other businesses and this inspires me to keep learning and keep sharing what I learn in an easy to understand way.

8: Describe your Dream Holiday;

I was actually just looking at pictures of the Maldives yesterday and dreaming! They have huts in the sea with their own mini swimming pools attached! They look incredible. You have to Google it!

9: Out of everything you have blogged about so far, do you have a favourite post?

Gosh, there are so many! I have 576 blog posts to date! I quite like this one though as I wrote it when I realised I’ve always liked writing, even from a very young age. It’s quite a nice realisation and a nice blog post. Lots of people have responded saying they did all the same things as a youngster! ‘Realising I’ve always had a passion for writing’ http://www.lyliarose.com/blog/read_144006/realising-ive-always-had-a-passion-for-writing.html
