Latest In Beauty / Beauty Guru Box

Latest In Beauty

Subscription boxes are somewhat of an obsession of mine right now, I am loving trying out so many of them and seeing what's on the market and today I am here to tell you all about the Latest In Beauty box, the Beauty Guru Box.

Beauty boxes are amazing, you can try out so many different products at an affordable price, who ever came up with this concept is an absolute genius because they are very very popular. For a while I have had my eyes on Latest in beauty, their boxes are hella intriguing because they have so many different ones for you to choose from, They have the Beauty Novice which is £9 and you get 3 products each month, the beauty enthusiast which is £15 per month and you get 6 items then there is the beauty Guru which has 9 products for £18 per month and that's the one I am going to be talking about today.

As far as beauty boxes go this has got to be one of my favourites simply because you get the option to choose what products you want to receive, it's basically like going shopping for stuff you need but getting it at a really good discounted price. The amount of choice they have is phenomenal, I was tossing and turning over what products to get for over an hour because I seen so many that I would have liked but in the end I chose these 9. now, I did receive some nail polish which isn't pictured above because unfortunately my little guy dropped it and it smashed... after rolling down a dozen stairs! The colour is beautiful though and I really want to purchase it again because I did really like it, what I saw of it anyway as it was dripping off my stairs haha.

My favourites from this box have to be the Eye shadow pallet from MUA, the colours are just stunning and I can't wait to get using it as the shades will really compliment my skin tone. I also really can't wait to use the Luxury Baobab Hair treatment, I am very excited to see how this works in my hair. I can't wait to use the face mask either, I am a big fan of face masks so this is an obvious choice for me.

So far from the box I have used the Burt's Bee's lip crayon, the shade is perfect, I can't fault this one bit as it's nice and bold plus feels amazing on my lips, I really think I made the right choice choosing one of them. I have also used the scrunching Jelly but I'm not too impressed with that as it actually made me loose my curls in record time once I done them, normally they will last about 3/4 days but the day after I had curled it, about 12 hours later really they were just waves and that's very unusual for my hair. This was the only thing I used differently in my hair when it was wet so I can only imagine it was that.

Latest in beauty has always been of interest to me as I have seen their boxes all over social media and when I was given the chance to review their beauty guru box I could have cried... seriously. I really enjoy the fact that they have so many boxes for you to try, right now they have a sale on some past boxes and I would suggest everyone to check them out, from as low as £10!

All in all I am impressed with this box, the contents I chose were fab for the most part and I can see me taking this up as a subscription because the full sized products really make it worth the money! The packaging is cute, the site is very easy to navigate and I don't have a bad word to say about this company, they really do have one of the best subscription services around.

Subscription - £18
One off box - £25

  10. I like subscription boxes because of the surprise but ended up never really using half the items so whilst this takes away the surprise - it sounds like a good deal!

  11. Girl! LIB is one of my favorites, too, because you can choose what you want from a wonderful selection. They also send voucher codes every now and then which I take advantage of! I recently purchased their Beauty and the Beast box cause it went on sale; I am thinking of getting one for my mother-in-law for Christmas cause she loves the movie. She probably won't do much with the beauty stuff; she'd just want the box haha

  18. I'm always intrigued by subscription boxes! I read my friend Beth (@adventureanx)'s beauty box reviews avidly because I'm always curious about what's included, although I haven't found a brand of boxes that's consistently good enough for me to consider purchasing my own subscription! This one does sound like a winner though, anything with Burt's Bees included can only be good hehe!

  19. I've had this subscription box once before and was so impressed by the contents, I just didn't keep up the subscription as I have too many on the go and funds were low! Lovely review.
