Smiggle

Hello lovely people!

Today I am talking to you all about the new Smiggle store that's opened up in Buchanan Galleries, It's such a beautiful store that's a sea of colour with beautiful and unique stationary bits and bobs.

First off I want to appologise in advance about all the pictures... I just couldn't not get all these because the place is COLOURFUL and oh my lord... It was a dream for me, ok, so maybe I'm NOT that sorry... This is more of a warning haha.

Before I start talking about my experience with the store and all my thoughts on it I just want to give you all some information about the company so you can get to know all about them.

Smiggle was born in 2003 with the first store opening in Melbourne, Australia. The store became such a hit that they now have 20 stores worldwide with them opening in places like New Zeland, Singapore, Uk and more. If you want to find out more then click HERE to read about their products and stores.

As soon as I walked into the new store I was wowed... Before now I hadn't had a chance to see any of them and I must be honest here, I though the store was called something else as I have seen the one at intu Braehead but never actually went in haha so It was nice to properly get the name and remember it for the future because I can assure you that this is where I will be going to get all Leon's school stuff next year. Excuse me whilst I go sob at the thought of my little baby starting primary school in less than a year....

The first thing that caught my eye was the amount of colour, it's definietly a childs dream that's for sure, Leon was taken a back by everything, you could see his wee face light up looking at it all. I spoke to a member of staff when I walked in and from the word go they were all super lovely. I really can't say enough good things about the staff, they have obviously been properly trained for customer service plus customer service with children as they knew exactly how to talk to the kids in store, They were brilliant with Leon, letting him touch everything and told him he could play with it all which I think he was confused at as in shops I normally tell him not to touch things haha but he soon started to get in to it all, He loved being able to play with things plus I told him he could buy what ever he wanted so naturally we walked away with chattering teeth and an alien in some slime.... Typical lol

All the products in store are unique, they aren't what they appear! Smiggle are definitely the Heston Blumenthal of stationary with their products always having something a little different incorporated. When we were in store Leon was given a gift (I can't thank smiggle enough for it because he has been LOVING everything) In his gift pack he got an a4 paper book, scented pencil, Water bottle and Pencil case which is for sure the Swiss army knife of pencil cases, literally, this thing has buttons on it which when you press has new compartments popping out (If you have seen my Weekly Vlog #15 then you will have seen it in action)

If you like anything that's a little strange yet super cute then Smiggle is the place for you!

The new store in Buchanan Galleries is fantastic, I am really glad that they have one there now as it's more accessible for me than the Braehead one and there's now a new place for me to spend all my money because let's face it, who doesn't love a stationary store?!

If you are looking for some awesome new stationary bits then head to Smiggle! You're bound to find something you LOVE and it will be really unique.

The New store is located in Buchanan Galleries on the first floor next to Claire's Accessories.
