The Rainbow Room Dyson Super Sonic experience

At the start of June I was invited along to the rainbow room for their Dyson Super Sonic event (I know this post is long over due but sometimes life gets in the way) Anyway, I was invited along and was able to bring a plus one so I asked Charlene to come with, it was about time us two met!

On the night I met up with Charlene before had and we went for a drink as we were a little early so we pulled up a chair in the pub right next to the rainbow room academy and gabbed away as if we had known each other for ages. Once it hit time to leave we eagerly went to the rainbow room full of wonder about what awaited us.

Walking into the rainbow room academy I was so excited because I've always wanted to go in, hearing tale of how my gran would go get her hair done after work then out dancing with her friends always filled me with joy because the academy is still running to date and it's the best in Glasgow by far so this was an experience in so many ways for me.

We were greeted at the front then shown to seats at the back of the room where we got some lovely bubbly and a cupcake (it was delicious btw!) After a few minutes I got to meet my hair stylist for the night who was just lovely and put up with all my questions about the new Dyson hair dryer. To start with I got a lovely head massage which is the best I've ever had... I must go again! Then my hair was washed and we talked about the style I wanted which had to be either wavy or curls as I just love me some big hair. One thing I noticed about the hair dryer was the noise or lack there of to be precise, this new Dyson hair dryer is so quiet compared to the normal conventional ones you get! I was really blows away by being able to hear my stylist talk to me do clearly as normally it's a strain to hear anything in a hair dressers.

The Dyson sonic has three different speeds and heats making it a really great model for home use, all the weight is in the handle eliminating those sore arms we are soooo used to... I'm pretty sure that's where I would get my upper arm strength from when I used a hair dryer haha. It's also impossible to get your hair sucked into it which for me Is a blessing because that was my number one problem with a hair dryer, getting my hair caught in the back but with this one theses so way that can happen. Dyson really have done their research because they have eliminated all the problems that came with conventional hair dryer and turned something that's always seen as a chore into something a little more fun. For me heat damage was a big problem with frying my hair, that's why I stopped using one together but this decreases heat damage by so much making this Dyson hair dryer number one in my eyes.

Dyson have always been known for their initiative designs, making products that are built to last and eliminating all the flaws of conventional house hold appliances (The hoover) and now they have done the same with their hair dryer. This has got to be the best on the market, no wonder it's so expensive but if you want to reduce heat damage, eliminate the awful noise and get the best hair dryer out there on the market today, then it's worth it. I am totally and utter smitten with this to say the least.

This event at the rainbow room has got to be one of my favourites because the treatment was superb, the cupcakes were lovely and I actually learned so much! I was made to feel 100%, my hair looked absolutely amazing by the end of it and I really can't Thank my stylist enough because he listened to what I wanted and was able to achieve this with just a hair dryer. Definitely gets top marks in my book.

Thank you so much to the rainbow room for having me, it was such a pleasure to come along and learn all about this amazing new piece of technology! *must run out and get one*

*Sadly I wasn't able to recover all the photos I took that night*
