Winter skincare Routine

It's now well and truly into winter... weather wise anyway! It's cold, windy, so much rain and you never know what you're going to get one day to the next. As it's winter my skincare routine is changing up, I now have to work even harder to keep it looking good. Today I am going to share with you all my routine and how I keep my skin in good condition during the harsh weather months.

In the morning I will cleanse my face using my Amie face scrub which smells amazing by the way! I started using this when I was in Ibiza and it's done wonders for my skin, so much so that I decided to keep on using it, purchasing a new one that's full sized this time to make sure I don't run out for a while. I use this with my Bareface from Magnitone and the normal brush head that comes with it.

After cleansing my face I use my body shop vitamin E toner on my face then I use my Clearasil 4 in 1 pads to help treat my break outs, I need to keep that to a minimum! Once I have used that I wait about 5/10 minutes then I use my Drops of youth concentrate from the body shop to help my drops of youth cream sink into my skin better. So that's my morning skincare routine, it's not really complicated, I tend to keep it simple as I am always on the go and don't have time to really sit down and pamper myself before leaving the house, I save that for night time.

My night time routine is a little longer but is almost identical to my morning routing. Once a wee I will use a face mask, it really depends on what I have in the house at the time but normally it's either a Glamglow one or one from superdrug... there's no difference is there? haha. But I like to make sure I stay on top of that once a week just to keep my skin looking and feeling good.

Anyway, let's get onto my every night routine.

I start by taking all my make up off with the Magnitone wipe out cloth, you just use water with it and it takes your make up off AMAZINGLY! I have a full review of this coming soon so keep your eyes peeled. After using the wipe out cloth I will get my Bareface again but change it to my deep pore cleansing brush head and use the Amie cleanser again. After I have done that I will go a head and use my Body shop vitamin E cleanser with some cotton pads, I really like to make sure my face is clean because I do get clogged pores very easily.

Once I have used the cleanser I will go in with the vitamin E toner on my face, when that has dried I use my Clearasil pads again, I really  find these help my skin and stop breakouts from occurring more than they already do plus they help to get rid of spots once they come to a head. After using the Clearasil pads I use my drops of youth concentrate again but I then apply my Drops of youth sleep mask which does wonders for my skin!

Since I have started using magnitone products I have really noticed a change in my skin, it looks better, it's always cleaner and I don't suffer from as much black heads or dry patches. The bareface helps me to give my face a right good clean plus I love how easy it is to change the heads over, although I do use one bare face for the morning and my other one for at night so I don't have to keep changing the heads haha but if I only had one it would be super easy to change them. The wipe out cloth is also an amazing little skincare tool, taking make up off has never been so easy! you just glide it across your face and it comes off, pretty impressive since it only needs water.

Now that I have told you all about my skincare routine in the winter and how much Magnitone has really helped me transform my skin I am giving one of you lucky readers a chance to win your very own Serenity Blue Bareface to help you keep your skin in Tip Top Condition.

  1. I always use a moisturiser in the evening before I go to my bed
And again in the morning after I have been in the shower and instead of using a heavy foundation I use a tinted moisturiser.

  2. I cleanse, tone and moisturise twice daily, use a face scrub every other day and a face mask once a week - as usual. In the Winter I use more vaseline on my lips.

  6. I'm soooo bad- I usually just grab a wet wipe or some micellar water to remove makeup and that's pretty much it...
I would love to be the type of organised person with an actual skincare regime though and have started trying to take better care of myself...sigh
