#MeetTheBeauties ││ Thoughtsfromjasmine

Hello Lovelies and welcome to this week's installment of #MeetTheBeauties. Today is all about Thoughtsfromjasmine

1: Tell us a bit about yourself.

I’m a 19 year old English and Philosophy first year at University with no idea what I wanna do with my life yet… I’m pretty ambitious and relatively organised and love to keep busy my days generally consist of a lot of different activities.

2: What is your blog name and how did you come up with it?

My blog “Thoughts From Jasmine” was a pretty random name actually.  I had no idea what to call my blog but I knew that I wanted my name included in there somewhere because I’m trying to put myself out there more.  I then got really wrapped up in trying to figure out what my blog was going to be; lifestyle? Beauty? Fashion? Then I realised, it’ll mainly just be me expressing my thoughts, and so “Thoughts From Jasmine” was born.

3: How long have you been blogging?

Only like 3 weeks now, I started on the 23rd December 2016 so I’m very new at this!  But I’m really enjoying it so far.

4: Who/What Inspired you to start a blog?

In the last couple of years I felt like I really lost my way.  I was always that person that had something to be passionate about and that spark had been missing.  After discovering (and then binge watching) Hannah Witton on YouTube, I realised that she was doing everything I wanted to – blogging, making videos, writing a book and developing a brand for herself.  So, I thought I’d start a blog and see if I could grow it, and then who knows where it will take me.

5: Do you have any tips you could share for other bloggers?

Social media is so key!  My blog has seen amazing growth since I started it and social media is such a big part of the reason why!  Get on Twitter chats, they’re golden!  In the last week I’ve gained 90 followers on Twitter just from putting myself out there and talking to other bloggers online!

6: Tell us a random fact about yourself.

I have a scar from when I was learning to ride a bike without stabilisers at 7 and ended up crashing into a stone bench and cutting my eyebrow open on the edge of it.

7: How do you find inspiration for your posts?

It’s very vague, but just everyday life… Little experiences and conversations and events give me food for thought and then when I get on my laptop to blog, then come back to me.

8: Describe your Dream Holiday;

Give me sun, a hotel with a massive swimming pool and all-inclusive bar and restaurant, throw in a few days of walking down to town and shopping/exploring and you’ve pretty much got everything I could want.  Preferably in Italy… It’s one place I’ve always wanted to go that I’ve never been to.

9: Out of everything you have blogged about so far, do you have a favourite post?

The list of 20 things I aim to do before I turn 20 was pretty fun, mainly because it’s given me goals and aspirations, and I get to keep coming back to it til September when I actually turn 20.  But I think my favourite would be my final day of the “12 Days of Blogging”, where I talked about the journey I’ve taken to get to where I am now and how funny it is when things work out.

10: What are your links, where can we find you?
