I can't quite believe that 2017 is coming to an end already, I feel like just last week it was summer and the month before was Easter... where has the time gone? It's been an oddly fast year for me and I can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing. 2017 has been filled with so many amazing thing and a fair few awful things. Looking back on everything that's happened I can see it's been filled to the max for me but it's been over in a flash.

This year I went to Lanzarote at the beginning of May, Leeds at the end of May for slamdunk, Disney land Paris in September and Ibiza in October. It's really been a year for travelling which was one of my main goals, I really wanted to get away and create amazing memories with those I love.

At the start of the year we found out my gran had throat cancer which was thankfully all cut out and she's now clear. It was such a scary experience having to see her go through all that again and not knowing what the outcome would be. I'm just so grateful that the surgeons and doctors that took care of her where so amazing, they really did work miracles and the nurses who looked after her whilst in hospital deserve a medal, they made her time there comfortable which is just super as she's scared of hospitals in case she never comes home. They put all her fears to rest, laughing with her daily and making sure she kept in good health. Not a day goes by that I don't thank my lucky starts that she's ok because I really couldn't imagine life without her.

We were so thankful that we had booked a holiday to Lanzarote because I really think we all needed it, my gran most of all because of everything she had been through, a stroke and then finding out all that, it was a little devastating but thing kept getting better after her operation. When we went to Lanzarote in May that was Leons first ever holiday abroad, he loved every minute of it and since then I've been dreaming about taking him away again to play in the sand and swim in the ocean. I've made a ton of new memories in one of my favourite places, these memories now have with my child will stay locked in my mind next to the memories I have with my mum in the same place. Recreating pictures I had with her was a highlight for me and something I'll cherish forever. That holiday really set the tone for the rest of the year and after everything that happened with my gran at the beginning of 2017 it really was icing on the cake.

Once we got back from Lanzarote about a week later off to Leeds I went for the second year in a row to attend Slamdunk Festival. This time I went with Katie, Carey and john, some of the best people I know for sure and It was one of the best times away I have ever had. We had a blast when down there, shopping, meals out, Slamdunk and amazing memories that I'll never forget.

After Slamdunk there wasn't any travelling for a while but this saw the summer come in and oh wow, what a summer it was. I ended up applying for college at the start of the year, it was something I knew I wanted to go back and do again but I could never get up the courage so I applied, didn't tell anyone, went for my interview still without really telling anyone then I got offered a place on the course then and there by some of my former lecturers, I honestly can't describe that feeling I had in that moment,
I was overjoyed, I had been dying to get back into education because I love to learn and I am studying something I am super passionate about, Photography and Film. That kicked off my summer in the most amazing way then the day's out kept happening, I made sure to give baby bear the best time whilst he wasn't in Nursery and I love that we got to have that time together. The summer really was amazing.

Once summer had ended it was back to normal life, baby bear was back to nursery and I started college. Life was a little hectic for a while, so many things happening which meant my Youtube took a big hit, I haven't done anything with that in sooooo long which has killed me a little inside because I really enjoy doing youtube but I had to prioritise my time. I am putting together a plan for 2018 that allows me to continue on youtube, making Vlogs.

September came around and off to Disneyland I went with Leon and Katie where we had the best time. It was amazing seeing Leon enjoy himself and getting to experience that magic with him, so much so that I will be taking him back the first chance I get and this time he want's granny to come ( I just hope this is do-able to be honest since her health is going down hill again) Disneyland was just one of those places that captured my heart, I am so thankful for Katie suggesting we go and helping make the trip one of a kind.

After Disneyland the next big event was Ibiza where Katie and I went away for a week, no worries, just pure bliss in the sun and oh boy what a holiday it was. We experienced some amazing sights, had time to just get away and recharge our batteries. I loved the sights, there were some breathtaking views and the pictures I managed to get were unlike any other. I now know why Katie loves the place so much, It was fantastic getting to see the beauty she does and I hope to go back, It would very much be worth it.

All in all 2017 has been both an amazing year and a very hard, mentally challenging year. There have been so many up's that it does far outweigh the downs. I can't believe I have been lucky enough to go away 4 times this year, to create amazing memories with some absolutely fantastic people. It's all been down to hard work and even harder play haha I am now really excited to see what 2018 has in store for me and where life will take me next, I just hope that 2018 will outdo 2017, although it will be hard to top everything that's happened, I am going to try.
