Christmas with Glasgow Fort

[AD/PR Event] Last night (the 17th) I went along to Glasgow Fort to experience their late night shopping and festivities. It was such an amazing night, There's Christmas lights everywhere, a little Christmas market and lots of fun to be had.

Glasgow fort is extending it's opening hours until midnight from the 17th December until the 23rd December to allow you to get all your Christmas shopping in, without having to worry about finishing the time. If you're a busy person like me, you'll find this incredibly handy! I really enjoyed the fact that I could shop in ease last night, I didn't feel rushed and if I'm honest, I much preferred the late night shopping.
If you are one of the organised ones this year ( I am so jealous by the way!) then you can head on over to Glasgow Fort and enjoy all the festivities that are going on from their lovely Christmas market which has a killer Chocolate Kisses stall to having a lovely evening out getting a meal and going to the cinema. There's lots for you to sink your teeth into this December at Glasgow Fort. I really loved that there was a Christmas market, it really put me in the festive mood and I am now officially excited for Christmas. They also have a photo opportunity with a massive snow globe for you to get pictures in, how awesome is that? It's honestly so much fun getting to create your very own snow globe photo, I really want to take little bear along and get one with him, how cute would that be?!
There are plenty of opportunities for you to immerse yourself into the Christmas Mood which is spread throughout Glasgow fort. Step into the world of the Nutcracker, there are Giant Nut Crackers spread throughout the fort, I seen so many children running up to them with wonder in their eyes. There is also a Giant Grandfather clock and you can find it outside of Next and there is a chance to unlock the perfect photo opportunity with their giant Golden Key which is right outside of the Christmas market (ps. The key changes colours! It's absolutely beautiful.

Just outside of the Christmas market you will also find a whimsical CHAS (Children's
Hospices Across Scotland) Carousel, the carousel costs £2 per ride and all the proceeds will go directly to CHAS. If you wan't to find out more about the amazing work they do, you can check it out HERE

There is also an opportunity to hop onto Santa's Sleigh and get yourself a seasonal selfie, you can find the sleigh just next to M&S.

If you get down to Glasgow fort for the festivities make sure to share your Christmas snaps with Glasgow fort with the hashtag #GlasgowFortChristmas, you'll be in with a chance of winning a Christmas Stocking filled with goodies. If you're heading out to Glasgow Fort then definitely jump into TGI Firdays for some dinner and let them know I sent you because they are amazing. Every time I have went in for a meal it's been nothing but a pleasure. All the workers have an amazing attitude, like to stoke up a conversation and are happy to help you with anything you need. We went for a nice mean and the man serving us, Ryan, couldn't have been nicer. He really made the experience what it was and I can't wait to go back.

TGI Fridays have their Christmas menu out at the moment and it's amazing! 3 Festive courses for just £21.99, Choose an appetiser, a main and a dessert, the Christmas menu looks so delicious, you can get all of the Friday favourites from their sesame Jack Frost chicken strips to their full rack of ribs. The selection on the menu is fabulous, and there are some festive cocktails on there to help you blow those winter blues away. My favourite one from their Christmas cocktails lists is the Jingle Bell Punch, that one sounds delicious. I have a day out with my bestie planned soon and we have decided to get dinner at Glasgow fort so of course we will be coming along to TGI Fridays. It's a restaurant I do really enjoy wither that be the Glasgow city centre one or the Glasgow fort one, all of them have such lovely staff and I have never had a bad experience with them.

Our night at Glasgow fort was really lovely, it was nice to experience the late night shopping. I really found myself getting lost in the festive spirit, constantly adding new items to my Christmas wish list. I loved the Christmas market, being able to get round the shops without a huge surge of people, grabbing dinner and relaxing with a movie at the VUE. We went to see Aquaman (It is AMAZING by the way) I always love going along to the VUE to see movies, it's now my cinema of choice since I have the car and a lot of Mondays we head there as they have their Super Mondays deal with reduced the prices of all their tickets with your special code. It's worth looking into, You just make an account with VUE (it's free) and you get a new code every Monday! What's not to love about that! Meaning you can still enjoy a day out to the cinema without breaking your bank at the price. I also think that the VUE is good for tickets most of the time, some cinemas I have been to recently have been about £12 for a ticket! No thank you.

So why not get yourself down to Glasgow Fort, experience the festivities, enjoy the late night shopping and have a blast of a time. And remember, use the hashtag #GlasgowFortChristmas when sharing your pictures online to be in with a chance of winning a stocking full of prizes. HAVE FUN!
