Pondering My Next Move

I spoke about what's been going on in my life recently over in my Busy Life Update post the other week and It's not really let up since. With life being so full on right now it has left hardly any time to focus on anything that isn't college or family life. I find myself longing to write, I really miss writing in my spare time, now I just find myself munching down a kit kat and looking over footage, not glamorous to say the least.

April To Do

March was over in the blink of an eye and here we are, another month into 2019! Since when did the years start flying past? Since when did everything move so quickly? Anyway, I'm back today with another to do list post and I'm hoping I actually get a chance to stick to it (fingers crossed!)

A busy update

If life is a highway, I've been in the fast lane these past few weeks. It's all go go go around here and I wanted to check in with an update and chat about life for a little bit.

What Makes You Successful?

It's a constant struggle in my head, I can't decide where I'm going or what I'm doing, will I be stuck like this forever?

Maybe I'm not that girl

I've always wondered why I've never been the girl who has lots of friends, why I'm not the girl to picked first, why I'm not the girl who fits in.

Urban Fox In Edinburgh

Street photo of the outside of Urban fox restaurant in Edinburgh. It's at night, the photo is quite dark with some light coming from the window and the sign as well as cars passing by.

I love trying out new restaurants, it's always great to find somewhere new that you can go for dinner or lunch, or even somewhere to chill out after work. On the 27th February I went along to Urban Fox to try out their food and see what they have to offer.

Up-Cycling Old Furniture: Drawer Handles

Close up of rose gold spray paint and two old vintage brass drawer handles sitting on a black glass garden table

Throwing old pieces of furniture out may seem like a good idea, its just taking up space right? and doesn't look the nicest, but instead of throwing it away, why not inject some love into it by up-cycling. Today I'm talking all about how I changed my drab looking drawer handles into the modern world.

The only love you NEED this Valentine's day

Happy Valentines Day you lovely lot! I hope that where ever you are and what ever you are doing, that you show yourself some love today. This Valentines day I'm doing things a little differently, I'm not showing someone else I love them or going above and beyond for someone else because this year, Valentines day is all about ME.

50 Things Im Grateful For

Sometimes in life we tend to forget about all the good things and focus on the bad, when something happens that stirs up negativity in our lives we can focus on that, loosing sight of the beauty around us. I know I am extremely guilty of not showing gratitude as much as I can so today I wanted to break that cycle, I wanted to talk about some thing's I'm grateful for.

My February To Do

Hello you lovely lot! It's been a while since I wrote a "to do" list hasn't it? I have always enjoyed writing them as it helps me stay on track so I am super excited to get back to writing them.

Travel Guide: Things To Do In Edinburgh

a landscape photo of Edinburgh that shows some buildings in the distance and a blue sky

Walking through old streets, grabbing a cuppa at a lovely little cafe, discovering something new, going off on an adventure in a city; there's few things I love more than exploring, it's one of my favourite things to do and it makes me feel free.

Normally I’m not one to share my creative passions, sure I write my blog content and share my blog photos with you all, but do any of you really know about my passion for photography and film making?

I have a 5 year old?!

I can't quite believe that I am sitting here, writing a post on how I have a 5 year old?! I can't quite wrap my head around this, I still feel like he's a baby! I look back on those days where the only place he would sleep was in my arms and I tear up a little. My little baby boy is growing up and I couldn't be prouder of the young man he's turning into.

Taking Care Of My Mental Health

I've always been one to campaign and promote better education for Mental Health. I think it's very important that we, as a society recognise and not shame those who have a mental illness. I'm glad to see that we are now moving forward in some respects but a lot still has to be done.

My Love/Hate Relationship With Social Media

Sometimes in life we may wander down a path that we did not want nor choose. Life will throw curve balls our way, darkness will descend and we will be left wondering what to do or where to go, but the thing to remember is, there is always light after darkness.

20 Things I Want To Do In 2019

I love setting myself goals, It feels good working towards something no matter how small or big it is. Last year I wrote a post on 20 things I wanted to do in 2018 so I thought I would do it again this year, It's not a list that I HAVE to stick to, but it's a list of some things I would like to have done through out 2019.
