50 Things Im Grateful For

Sometimes in life we tend to forget about all the good things and focus on the bad, when something happens that stirs up negativity in our lives we can focus on that, loosing sight of the beauty around us. I know I am extremely guilty of not showing gratitude as much as I can so today I wanted to break that cycle, I wanted to talk about some thing's I'm grateful for.

There are so many things I am grateful for in life, If I'm honest, I feel incredibly lucky to have the things I do and have the family and friends that I have. I have had amazing opportunities, I have quite a good life which I tend to think about from time to time. When I think about where I was when I was 16, I have came a long way, from a rocky childhood filled with so many things that could have broke me, to a great life where I have a beautiful son and amazing people around me. I have previous wrote about some of the things that have happened in my life in my blog post "Why I like to be Positive" if you fancy having a read, it's quite close to my heart that post.

Anyway, today I want to focus on the things I am grateful for so here is a list little things that I sometimes take for granted.

I could go on and on, but I thought stopping at 50 would be a good idea as to not make this post last for days haha. I am so grateful for a lot of things in my life, I may not always show it but I really am, Just being alive is enough, especially after so many attempts at not being here anymore, life had another plan for me and I truly believe that, It just wasn't my time to go and I am so so SO grateful for that, otherwise I wouldn't have my son who is the most precious person in my life.

I think we all just need to take a moment each day and think about the things we are grateful for, maybe if everyone did, the world would be a nicer place. What are you grateful for? Let me know below!

  3. Such a lovely compilation Jordanne! I love that your son's smile was the first thing you mentioned, and I like your inclusion of teeth & nails as well :') It's honestly things like that that we tend to overlook & forget how wonderful they really are. Today I am grateful that I received my letter of acceptance into the university here in my home town; I'm excited to be transferring there in the fall! xxx

  5. It's funny, when I start making lists of things I'm grateful for my bed is always one of the first things I think about! Especially after you come off a long haul plane ride, I never appreciate my bed more than then.

  7. This is such a beautiful post! It's too easy to get caught up in negativity and thinking everything's grey and dull - it's nice to see someone sharing some positivity once in a while. The thing I'm most grateful for is definitely my family - I know they've always got my back.
