Mercury in retrograde got you feeling a little backwards? Then why not get a bath bomb to balance out your universe. The Lush mercury retrograde bath bomb from this years Halloween range packs a punch, it's the whole package from a beautiful scent perfect for fall to the stunning show of colours it produces, this bath bomb is sure to help you relax as you let life settle.

This year we have a Mercury Retrograde happening on the 31st October, hence this beaut of a bath bomb being part of the Lush Halloween range. On first impressions I was drawn in, the fact it's colourful helps and it really does remind me of a planet. There's some coarse sea salt within the bath bomb that you can see peaking out at the top, sea salt has a range of benefits from health enhancing minerals to therapeutic properties and I am glad to see it included in a bath bomb to give an extra kick, as if Lush bath bombs weren't awesome enough!

So what is the scent like? Well, it's a bit of a spicy one, perfect for autumn and all things Halloween, sugar and spice plus all things nice, ye'know? Anyway, Mercury Retrograde has some Ginger oil and Cinnamon leaf oil in it, you can pick up on the earthy undertones this bath bomb has as well as the spice, it's definitely the kicker to this wee gem. For me I could smell a lot of spice but my gran actually picked up on the Cinnamon side of it first so maybe it depends on your sense of smell? who knows, but what I do know is that I LOVED the scent and that's not something I say often when it comes to Cinnamon or Ginger as I actually dislike them on their own, however, Lush have crafted this in such a way that had me lusting after more once I used this.

I really liked this bath bomb before it went in the water, the name is perfect and I'm glad that Lush brought this out although I do with it wasn't part of the Halloween range because I would definitely be buying this all year round, or at least when ever there is a Mercury Retrograde. At one point I was arguing with myself on wither I should use this or not just because it's really pretty haha but I am over the moon that I did because when the bath bomb hit the water, WOW!

Want to see exactly how well this bath bomb preformed in the water? Then I got you covered because I have another Lush Demo for you all and this time there is a little surprise within the video... I have to say, I am LOVING making these.

What Lush Say:

"On All Hallows' Eve this year, Mercury will be in retrograde. But before thoughts of imminent chaos cross your mind, grab this cosmic bath bomb. Whether you’ve slept through your alarm, or conversations with friends seem curious, you might be in need of some reassurance. Sicilian lemon oil collides with stimulating ginger to ease tension and lift your mood. While sodium alginate cocoons you in comfort, coarse sea salt helps soften skin. Be soothed by fruity buchu and spicy cinnamon that will leave you feeling celestial and wash any worries of weird interactions away"

All in all I really liked this bath bomb, the colours are beautiful, it preformed well in the water and the scent was truly a blessing to my nose, especially since it's been blocked for what feels like an eternity. For me this bath bomb is a winner, so if you're in the market for a bath bomb that will give you all the fall vibes as well as helping you keep your life balanced, then give this a go, but be quick as it is part of the Halloween collection which we know sadly doesn't last all year.

I adore snow fairy shower gel so I’ll need to take a trip there anyway as it should be in stock by now!
