I don't know about you, but I am so ready for it to be Halloween! I am super excited for this time of year, it's starting to feel really cosy at night, candles are lit and I am snuggling up s much as possible! But I'm not here to discuss all things autumn, I'm back with another Lush bath bomb review, this time it's all about "Pumpkin Pumpkin" from the Lush Halloween range.

Pumpkin Pumpkin is a bath bomb from the Lush Halloween range that packs a punch. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing to look at, it smells divine as well.  On the surface this bath bomb looks like any other but when the lights go out you are treated to some glowing eyes coming straight from the Pumpkin! It's a love added treat to this spooky little bomb and I appreciate that Lush are still innovating with new, exciting products that will have us lusting after them.

The bath bomb isn't round like most others from Lush, this time it had a sort of bubble bar feel to it with it's shape, not very often do they have the flat back and flat front on their bath bombs so when I first laid eyes on this little guy I was convinced he was a bubble bar lol I really like the style of it, it's a lovely orange colour keeping it true to pumpkins with a green stem then white for the eyes and mouth. Although both the mouth and eyes look the same, it's only the eyes that Glow in the dark. When in the water it's not a huge explosion of colour like say, Monsters' Ball - But it looks good and it has some fun about it for Halloween.

The scent is rather lacklustre if I am being completely honest, It gave a hint of pumpkin spice but over all the scent was pretty unnoticeable and after about 5 minutes putting it into the water, I couldn't smell it at all so I feel Lush could maybe add a bit more in the scent department to match it with the personality this bomb has.

If you want to see just how this bath bomb preforms then don't worry because I have created a short youtube video so everyone can see how it look in the water, the colour and what to expect.

And there you have it, the Pumpkin Pumpkin bath bomb from Lush. It's a great wee bath bomb in my opinion and I sincerely hope that they keep this one coming year after year because the added fun of glow in the dark eyes is a winner. I just hope that they make the scent a little stronger because after around 5 minutes the scent was practically gone.

  2. Aw what a bummer that the scent didn't linger very well!! I think I still wanna try it out because it's just so cute, and I haven't treated myself to a Lush bath bomb in a very long time. So excited that the weather is getting colder & have a good excuse to run myself a bath and have a pamper night hehe x

  10. What a cute little thing! A pity the scent gave out, but one could always add a drop or so of fragrance oil to keep it going. I would feel like I was plopping candy into my bath with these. :) I love that you have the visual of a video; very inventive.
