Beauty and Bath Christmas gift Guide

There's nothing I love more than opening up some bath and beauty products at Christmas, It means I'll be smelling good and feeling pampered for weeks to come which is just what I, and I suspect others as well, need at the new year. So, today I am here with some awesome presents for the bath and beauty lovers in your life or maybe you will find some inspiration for your Santa list.

Please note that some of these products have been provided for the purpose of this Gift guide and will be marked with a '*'. However, I wouldn't feature anything that I wouldn't personally recommend, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

*EyeMajic

EyeMajic is taking the process of applying eyeshadow and simplifying it so everyone and anyone can get professional looking eyes in just 10 seconds. It is the worlds first instant eye-shadow that uses heat sensitive applicators to transfer highly pigmented eyeshadow in a variety of colour arrangements straight to the eyelid in seconds.

So, does it work and should you be getting this for a beauty lover this year? Short answer, yes. I have used the instant eyeshadow three times now and each time I have managed to get really nice looking make-up with an eye look that is effortless yet does the trick. It is super easy to apply; you just press swipe and go. This process is more hygienic, the products is cruelty free, paraben free and completely recyclable. There are many colours to choose from with the likes of Smokey eyes to Urban Creme, you will be able to find the perfect shades.

*Radical Tea Towel

Radical tea towel is a family run business that has always been interested in the amazing stories of history's radical thinkers and campaigner, and how much hope these stories can inspire relative to the politics of today. Radical tea towel has been a company I have had the pleasure of learning more about from reading their story on their website to reading through their policies, I have loved getting to know this brand and really love everything they stand for. They pride themselves on their progressive values and central message of equality and fairness. At Radical Tea Towel they believe that as human beings we are all equal and we all deserve a decent, secure and fulfilling life with equal access to education, employment and participation in society.

The products at Radical Tea Towel really do reflect exactly what the company is about with designs that provoke thought and emotion. Their votes for woman wash bag is just one of many awesome designs and I am glad to report that the wash bag is very good quality. The material is thick, the design looks great and it is so much bigger than you expect which is perfect for a weekend getaway, can pop all my bathroom bits and bobs in it with ease. Not only do they have a range of different wash bags you can also get gifts such as tea towels (well it is in the name), aprons and more.

*True Skincare

Honesty and transparency are paramount to True skincare, they believe in letting the consumer know exactly what goes into their products and what you get out of them. Their 100% natural, certified organic, water-less skincare has been carefully developed to help you tackle your skin concerns, all of their products are cruelty free, ethical and vegan friendly.

I have to say, I really love the design of these products, they look so beautiful and also work well. I have used the certified organic nourishing avocado & evening primrose facial oil and so far, I have to admit, It has helped my skin and stopped the dry patches I was getting. I use it every 3rd night and it works well with the rest of the products I have in my skincare routine. I am sure any skincare enthusiast or beginner would enjoy trying out True Skincare. The certified organic gentle super-food exfoliator is also a fab little product, I have found that using this on a Sunday night has been a great addiction into my routine, it smells lovely and feels so gentle on my skin.

*I Love cosmetics

Having a bath or shower is about the only time I really get some alone time, no little bear barging in anymore, no cat staring at me to feed him, it's when I can relax and take some well needed me time so when I receive anything to do with having a bath or shower I am over the moon and I love cosmetics have been a brand I have previously used thanks to getting some at Christmas. Their Mango and Papaya bath and shower creme is by far my favourite, the scent is amazing but that's not to say the coconut and cream plus strawberries and cream don't smell heavenly, because they do, especially coconut and cream, smells so good I could eat it.

There are a range of products from I love cosmetics that would make great Christmas presents, they have some beautiful gifts like the Gingerbread cookies festive favourites which I can confirm smells SO GOOD! It's perfect for the season and there is also a Minty Choc Chip bath and shower cream that I spotted on their website under stocking fillers, I have already added it to my Christmas list because can you just imagine how good that will smell?! I would genuinely recommend I love cosmetics for picking up some bits for Christmas, you can never go wrong with some bath and shower themed products.

I love cosmetics is against animal testing, made in the UK and vegan friendly which just makes this company even better to shop with. I love is proud of their British roots and are committed to sourcing and manufacturing the vast majority of their products from UK suppliers. Since I love launched in 2009, the company has grown successfully around the world, even winning the Queens award for international trade in 2013.

*Tropic Skincare

The environment that Susie Ma, the founder and CEO of Tropic has had a huge effect on the products that are created over at Tropic and that is evident from the packaging to the scent, the whole aesthetic and performance of these skincare products are mind blowing. I have been a lover of Tropic skincare products for a while so when I got the chance to review some of their products I was over the moon and I am glad to say that everything I have tried so far has worked wonders with my skin.

If you are buying for a skincare lover this year then Tropic is a good brand to look at, their smoothing cleanser complexion purifier and bamboo cloth are a fantastic due, taking off my make-up has never been easier, literally. All products have performed well and my skin is started to look healthier as I am trailing them right now. So, if you are looking at skincare products for someone this year then Tropic skincare is a fairly budget friendly brand.

*Arran Sense of Scotland

I was kindly sent a personalised gift box from Arran sense of Scotland which contained all these beautiful goodies and a Candle plus reed diffuser which I spoke about in my Homeware Christmas Gift Guide but today it's all about their other products such as skincare and the likes.

Arran sense of Scotland offer a range of different products from bars of soap to fragrances and from what I have experienced using their products, they are really good quality. We are currently using the hand soap in the bathroom and everyone who uses the bathroom tells us how good it smells, which it really does. I also particularly like the After the rain fragrance roller, it smells great and you only need a little bit for it to last hours, it's great to keep in my bag when I'm out. Arran sense of Scotland have such a wide variety of products on their website which means you'll be able to find something for everyone at a range of prices to suit your needs.

Arran sense of Scotland is proudly made in Scotland (if you couldn't already guess) and they are inspired by nature. For three decades they have been creating vibrant, evocative scents from their home farm factory and have grown significantly since they began as a small family soap business and have held true to their island heritage. Crafting the aroma is at the heart of each and every thing that they create, from their soaps to their candles they all start with the subtle art of perfumery.

*Note Beauty

Buying for a make-up lover? Then check out Note beauty. Their products are vegan friendly and cruelty free and have great pay off. I have been using their lash master mascara which I absolutely love! No clumping, looks great on and I definitely see a significant difference in the length of my lashes when I wear it. The Note Must Have set is a great gift for make-up lovers with a beautiful red mineral semi matte lippy, Lash master mascara and precision eyeliner. It's the kit with everything you will need to create a beautifully striking look.

This gift set would be perfect for the make-up lover in your life, the lippy looks great on and I found I didn't have to top it up as much as I would expect and I am LOVING the eyeliner, I haven't used eyeliner in a while so it's been good to create some different looks lately.

Note beauty was launched in 2014, they offer high quality, affordable make-up with true skincare properties. Their products are enriched with essential oils, vitamins and minerals to help deliver all over radiance and skin rejuvenation. Note beauty is cruelty-free, paraben free, vegan friendly and demagogically tested.

*Dermalogica

Dermalogica are a skincare brand that I genuinely love, everything I have used thus far has worked amazingly with my skin, their skin smoothing cream is one of my top favourite's moisturisers. If you are looking for high quality skincare then I would recommend Dermalogica, this is definitely one for the higher end budgets, but the products are worth the money.

Dermalogica started in 1986 and has 324 awards to date, focusing on ingredients that work, their confidence is founded by skin care professionals worldwide who use Dermalogica products in their treatment rooms every day because of the great results.
