The Vincent Ehindero Blogger Award Tag

Hello! I am back with another tag, who am I? I used to love doing tag posts when I first started blogging but I sort of fell away from taking part in them anytime I was tagged, I don't know why, I don't really have an answer other than I always felt 'busy', but I did. So, it's been nice to go back to them, this pandemic has finally given me time to sit down and enjoy these types of posts again.

I was tagged by the lovely Katie from Lifewithktkinnes to take part in the Vincent Ehindero Blogger Award Tag, you can read Katie's post here. Thank's Katie for the tag and some really thought out questions! One of them has my insides all tense haha.

Here are The Vincent Ehindero Blogger Award Rules:

1. Thank the person who nominated you with a link to their blog.
2. Make a post of the award (with a photo of the logo).  - The photo is at the bottom of the post.
3. Post the rules
4. Answer the questions asked by the person who tagged you.
5. Ask 5-10 questions of your choice.
6. Nominate 10-30 other bloggers (or more) and notify them.

Katies Questions:

1: What is one thing you wish you had known about blogging before you started?

I wish I had known how much branding plays a part in a blog, when I first started, I had no idea, nothing was the same handle, my overall theme was a mess and it wasn't cohesive. But I guess that's the magic of it, you learn and grow as you go on and you find what works.

2: If you could travel in time to any era, which would you pick and why?

Oh, this is a tough one because there are a few that intrigue me, like the Victorian era, I would love to experience it for a day but at the same time I'm like ew because people were jerks and it was so backwards. I would also love to experience the stone age, I mean, imagine getting to witness what life was like then.

3: You can have any animal in the world as a pet (fully financed for you for the rest of your life) – which would you have?

If I could have any animal, I would still have a cat haha. I LOVE cats, they are my spirit animal and everything about them is so cute. I know it's not extravagant or out there, but I just love cats, the only difference if money wasn't an issue, would be that I would have about 30 cats.

4: Do you collect things? Like notebooks, magnets, spoons, egg cups etc? When did you start?

I love collecting pin badges, I started when I was quite young as my mum would always bring me a few back from when she was away with work and I LOVED them! Unfortunately, about 90% of my collection wen't missing during our last move but I am starting to build it back up again. I also really enjoy collecting stationary, I have way too much and I never get around to using it all before I buy more haha.

5: Who would you say you most aspire to be like?

If I'm being 100% honest, I don't aspire to be like anyone. I really enjoy carving out my own path and doing my own thing, sure, I really like what some people are doing, but I want to do my own thing and leave my own mark.

6: Where in the world would you travel to right now if you could get on board a plane or boat without having to isolate or worry about your health?

I would for sure go to Canada! the plan was to go there this year with little bear to let him experience traveling around the country like I did when I was a child because it really is magical, so if I could go anywhere right now, that's where I would go.

7: Thirty years from now, what would you most like to be remembered for?

I want to be remembered as a good mum, as someone who was kind and always stood up for what I believe in, someone who worked hard and always took the bull by the horns so to speak. I think it's important that we spread kindness throughout life, I am a huge believer in karma, so I always want to put my best foot forward and make people happy.

8: You can only watch one film for the rest of your life – which film are you picking and why?

KATIE!!! what are you doing to me?! Films are my LIFE! I could cry with this question, honestly, it's a tough one for me and I really don't have an answer, I don't even know how I would approach this question without going into a whole analysis haha.

9: What book from your childhood will you always remember?

I read a book called Junk when I was in high school and I absolutely loved it, I really don't know why as it's nothing spectacular, but I enjoyed it. From my early childhood, I had a huge Winnie the Pooh book which was filled with loads of stories that my gran and I would read every night.

10: Where were you when you first decided to start your blog?

I was in my room, I had just finished reading someone's blog and I though, I am going to do this. I had been reading blogs for a while before I started my own, but I never had the courage to go for it until I was really angry at someone for telling me I was "nothing" and I thought, I'm going to show them. I had always wanted to start a blog, but the fact someone told me that I was "nothing" I felt like I wanted to rattle them, but I opted for doing this instead.

The Vincent Ehindero Blogger Award - My questions:

1: If you could tell your 10 year old self one thing, what would it be?

2: What is your dream career?

3: You have just been given £500,000 to spend in a week - What do you spend it on?

4: When was the last time you tried a new food? What was it?

5: What's one piece of advice you have been given that has always stayed with you?

6: What does your ideal pamper night look like?

7: If you were a teacher in high school/secondary school, which subject would you teach?

8: Would you break the law to save a loved one?

9: If you knew today was your last day on earth (and the pandemic + money wasn't an issue) what would you do?

10: When was the last time you payed yourself a compliment?

  1. Aw this was such a fun tag; I loved reading your answers!! The Victorian era would be a pretty interesting time to go back to, though it would be a whole lot dirtier than we're used to :') xx
