Driving Playlist

When I'm driving, I LOVE to be listening to music. There is something about having songs playing that puts me at ease as I am quite a nervous driver. So, I have curated a driving playlist that helps me feel like I am on top of the world with some great tunes.

With music meaning a lot to me, I couldn't not have a driving playlist. I love to sing in the shower with my Feel Good Playlist, I like to listen to music when I am writing blog posts with my Let's Do This Playlist and I love chilling out in the garden on a sunny day with my Summer Playlist, so it's no surprise that I would have a playlist dedicated to driving is it?

One of my favourite things to do in the morning when I was going to college was leave a little earlier so that I could take the long route and listen to my driving playlist. I would often add songs to it and then take some off so that the playlist didn't feel to repetitive and I was getting a good mixture of songs to listen to. But, since I have finished college I really don't spend as much time in my car as I used to, meaning that I haven't mixed up my playlist in quite a while which I am ok with because it doesn't feel repetitive at all now, plus I have quite a lot of song on the playlist meaning It takes a little longer to get through all of the songs.

For my driving playlist I wanted to have songs that had good base and catchy tunes as I'm not a fan of slow slow songs when driving, unless it has a good overall vibe like Somebody Else by the 1975. I personally like to have a mixture of genres, that way I get to listen to a mixture of songs that make my soul happy in different ways.

I have artists and bands like The Jam, Miley Cyrus, Waterparks, Post Malone, David Bowie, Pendulum, Marilyn Manson, The Kooks, Muse, Saint Motel, Barenaked Ladies, Nirvana, Pulp, Lady Gaga, Cher and so many more which in my mind are TUNES, especially when I am driving.

And that's my driving playlist, I am always updating it with new songs that I enjoy singing along to because when I'm in the car, I love to sing, not that I'm any good haha, but I still love having a little sing song.

What's your favourite songs for the car?

  1. I love your driving playlist Jordanne! You really honestly can't beat listening to music in the car and belting out different songs! I usually listen to the radio in my car, sometimes I connect my phone to my car and listen to my own songs, but yes, listening to music while driving is the best! x

  3. Thanks for sharing your playlist, I don't have a car so I don't drive, but if I did I would have lots of 60's music :)

  4. I’m horrible when it comes to knowing the artist and title of the song when I hear it. So, it’s really hard for me to make a playlist without knowing who to look for! Lol! But I really should take opportunity of that because my cell phone has it and my car has connection with my phone. Xxx
