Hello, happy May! Can you believe we are 5 months into the year? Like, what?!

Although I love the start of a new month, It’s a bitter sweet day for me. May 1st is my Mother’s birthday. Whenever it’s her birthday or the anniversary of her passing, I light a candle to remember her and make a point of reminiscing on the good memories.

So it’s a strange day for me because I’m in my feelings about missing her but I’m also so excited it’s a new month filled with new possibilities.

Anyway, that’s a conversation for another time. Today is all about my May advertisers. A wonderful bunch of blogs that I highly recommend you check out.

First up I have Monty from montysblahg.com with me again for advertising and it’s so nice to have Monty here. I have really grown fond of Monty’s work over these past few months and thoroughly enjoy the poems he shares.

On Monty’s Blahg you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to content. His writing really is wonderful and I can’t imagine his words won’t strike a cord with you. Monty’s writing pulls you in and keeps your attention and I particularly like that the way he portrays his words is very down to earth.

I’ve mentioned before that his Golden Shovel posts are my favourite but I am drawn towards his A to Z posts at the moment. I recommend reading Q is for…Questions (#AtoZ). That’s my favourite as it reminds me of my son a lot and the endless questions he asks daily.

Rachel’s blog is a firm staple in my blog binge I do every few days. With posts that are both informative and inviting, you’ll be hooked by Rachel’s writing. Her blog focuses on health, but Rachel always finds a way to make it more appealing to a wider audience.

I particularly like that I feel safe with the information Rachel shares and I trust what she is telling me. I’ve mentioned before, but I personally use her blog to help me on my health journey. I’ve found it to be a great resource in changing habits and learning about health in more depth.

An important post for Rachel I think you should check out right now is her post Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day. Especially as Ovarian Cancer Awareness is on May 8th.

I particularly like to have a browse a couple of times a week to see what’s new.

There’s genuinely something for everyone no matter what your interest.

From food to lifestyle, you’ll find it all on The Grumpy Olive.

The sisters, Simona, Fred and Cristina have such a lovely blog and writes amazing posts that feel very inviting and friendly.

One post that I’ve loved recently by them is their Passion Fruit Curd – Easy & Quick Recipe. It sounds so delicious and I just have to try it myself.
