My July To Do List | The 2021 Edition

My July To Do List | The 2021 Edition

Writing July to do list while I feel like my June one was posted only yesterday is mind boggling. The months are going by far too quickly and I for one am not happy about it.

Saying that it’s the 7th month of the year just doesn’t sit right. This means that it’s only 5 months till Christmas, 172 days to be exact. What is happening?!

But, enough of my ramblings because I say this all the time and I expressed all of this in my July Advertisers post already anyway. So, let’s focus on the task at hand, my July to do list.

July To-Do List

Arrange some play dates for Little bear

As it’s the school summer holidays, he won’t be in school getting those important social interaction every day. So, I’m looking to arrange some play dates with my friends and their kids to keep him socialising. I’ve already got stuff planned with my best friend, her son and nephew. Then I’ve arranged a day with my sister-in-law her son. Hopefully we can arrange a few more and have some fun days out.

Go to the beach

We’ve been having such lovely weather recently which has been a lovely change. Normally it’s cold or pouring down in Scotland, so to have some sunny days has been fabulous. Hopefully if we get more days like that, we can head off to the beach for the day and enjoy ourselves.

Have a BBQ

I’ve been moaning about having a BBQ for a while now Haha. I think my partner is sick of me mentioning to be honest. But we now have a new one and I’m desperate to get cooking and have a nice day in the garden with the pool and some good food.

Go on an adventure

I really want to go on an adventure this month. The plan is to pack up the car with a picnic and just drive until we find somewhere nice to explore. I’ve mentioned it to a friend who also loves to do this, so we are thinking about choosing a dry day and heading off early morning with LB. I’m very much looking forward to this and praying we actually do it.

Go a walk at least twice a week

I’ve been enjoying being more active lately, so I’d love to keep that up and go some walks each week with little bear. It’s always fun setting off and finding new local walks to go on. Hopefully I can keep this one up and actually do the damn thing. Normally I make this a goal and something happens to completely derail it, please don’t let that be the case this month!

Drink 2000ml water every day

Since I’ve started to keep myself more hydrated, I’ve noticed a change in my skin and my mood. It’s so weird that drinking enough water each day can have an affect like this. So, the plan is to keep drinking my 2000ml of water and not letting myself slip on this one.

Get some new clothes for Little Bears caravan trip

Little bear is going on a trip at the end of the month with his Aunties and Uncle to a caravan park at Craig Tara. All of his cousins will be there (15 kids!), and I’m looking forward to him going away to have a great time for 3 days. His dad or I won’t be there meaning we can have some alone time which will be nice. Because he will be going away, I want to get him some new clothes to take with him.

Arrange a date night

Carrying on from last goal, because we will have some time to ourselves, I want to arrange a date night. I’m not sure what to go for yet but I’m sure nearer the time I’ll have something figured out.

And that’s my to do list for July. I wanted to keep it fun to fit with summer and the school holidays. I’m really hoping that we get lots more nice weather because life just feels so much better when the sun is shining.

Fingers crossed we get to have lots of fun and I complete all of these tasks. I’m particularly looking forward to the beach and a BBQ. I love just kicking back and having fun with my family.

What’s on your to do list this July? Let me know in the comments.

  9. What are the beaches like in Scotland? I’ve never been that far up when going on a beach trip. I’ve been keeping track of my water intake to see if that changes any of my health symptoms, but 2L of water a day has had no impact on me, if anything, I often feel more dehydrated the more I drink

    1. The beaches ate lovely! There’s some rocky ones, some very sandy ones and some that have such ice blue clear water with white sand and they are honestly amazing.
