My Ultimate Dream Kitchen Design Using The Sims 4

My Ultimate Dream Kitchen Design Using The Sims 4 [Updated for 2025]
Have you ever sat down and thought about what your dream house would look like?
Do you find yourself thinking about all the little details that would make your soul happy?
Because same!
I love to daydream about my perfect house, the one that I would build in a heartbeat if possible.
There’s something magical about designing your own home I think.
Although I have nowhere near enough money to make that dream house come true in real life right now, The Sims have made it possible to create the visuals.
So, today I wanted to share what my ultimate dream kitchen would look like, and show it through the magic of sims.

My Ultimate Dream Kitchen Design
I’ve always wanted a big kitchen, one that’s got enough room to move around in, one that represents the heart of the home.
Ideally it would have a set kitchen space with built in storage space and a dining room just off to the side.
It really is true when people say the kitchen is normally where the party is.
So, I’d love enough space to entertain in it as well as having seating space at a breakfast bar.
The dining room would have an open archway to make it feel like part of the kitchen but also have it’s own separate atmosphere.
Plus it would be handy if there was a dinner party or the big Christmas Dinner.

The Colour Scheme
For a long time I wanted to have a retro feeling kitchen in a metropolitan design, but I’ve done a complete 180 on this.
Now I would love a simple, sleek modern style kitchen with a black, grey and white colour scheme.
I really love the look and feel of modern kitchens that also have some personality to them, so I would like little personal touch items in the form of wall decor and kitchen clutter that can add a hint of colour.
Ideally the walls would be grey brick and the floor would be an off white colour, I’m not sure what type of flooring I would like yet, probably a stone material.

The Worktops and Cupboards
As I want a nice modern feel with a black colour scheme, I would like the worktops and cupboards to be in black while the walls and floor offer the light feeling of grey and white.
For the worktops I think a lovely black marble would be nice as I picture myself cooking breakfast or baking on them, and it fills me with joy.
Having the worktops and cupboards match in colour is a must as I think that would pull the whole look together nicely.

The Appliances
As well as a good colour scheme and stunning worktops, I’d love some high quality appliances.
Ideally they would be black as well to fit with everything else so that it’s easy on the eyes and there’s not lots of different colours fighting for attention.
A double fridge freezer is a must have as well as an electric cooker.
Preferably the cooker would be built into the worktops so that it flows easily but unfortunately I couldn’t get one in the sims to fit my vision.
With the likes of a microwave and sink I wouldn’t mind them being silver, but black would be best, and it is my dream kitchen after all so I can have them any colour I like in my mind haha.

Storage Space
For some storage space I think two built in wall length cupboards would work quite nicely.
After designing these ones in the sims I’m not sure I could fall in love with anything else as I just adore how they look in the kitchen.
I’m not sure if I would go with full glass doors though, but for the purposes of the game it turned out nice.
Also having a lot of cupboards around the worktop area would be a dream! We have hardly any in my current house and it’s a nightmare.
So, having enough to keep all my mugs in would be a huge bonus.

The Dining Room
The dining room would have to be just off from the kitchen with a big open archway.
I think this would be a lovely way to set up the floor plan to allow for easy access in serving food and holding a party.
It would still have the same colour scheme as the kitchen so that it flows but I would want it to be a bit more cosy in terms of atmosphere.
The intimate setting for meals would be great.
I would also love to have some sideboards which can house spare plates, glasses and more.
Plus they would be perfect for having some decor pieces on display.

Plants
Although I would like the colour scheme to be black, white and grey, I think some green plants would be the cherry on top.
I really enjoy looking at plants in the home and having them around the kitchen and dining room would be *chefs kiss*.
Final Thoughts on My Ultimate Dream Kitchen Design
And there you have it, my ultimate dream kitchen design.
I had so much fun creating my ultimate dream kitchen design and this post!
Seeing the vision that was in my head come to life before my eyes was magical.
Although, I’m sad that my sim self gets to live her best life with it rather than myself *cries internally*.
