Gus & Bella Subscription Box Review + Unboxing

As someone who adores my cat, I love when there is something for us both to enjoy, like brushing him or cuddling with him, even better if we can play together. So, when Gus and Bella reached out about their subscription box for both cats and their humans, I couldn't resist trying out one of their boxes.

Please note that the box was sent to me Gus & Bella themselves for me to try out and talk about on my blog but as always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Gus and Bella is a subscription box for both cats and humans a like, a great way to treat your fur baby and yourself in one go! No more one box for you and another from them which can be quite pricey, get one box that serves both of you and don't break the bank every month.

They have three different options, a monthly box, a bi-monthly box or a one off gift box so you can control when and how you receive your box. Plus, every month there is a box with a golden ticket inside which will entitle the winner to the prize of the month, for their March box the prize is a hand painted custom pet portrait by Precious Pet Art.

Gus and Bella was inspired by two cats, Gus and Bella and  from the moment they entered their new home, they were central parts of the family.

Like my own fur baby, Teddy, Gus and Bella were indoor cats and from my experience, it is hard to keep them constantly stimulated and occupied. Gus and bella was born from the desire to help other cat owners to find a new way to treat their furry friends and occasionally themselves.

The March box theme is "Best Cat Mum" in honour of Mothers day, filled with little treats you would expect to get on mothers day and some fabulous items for your fur baby, this box has it all.

Before I opened the box I could already see one of the items, the rosewood jolly moggy cat tunnel was separate from the box, and for obvious reasons, it's a good size and definitely not something I expected, so it was off to a good start.

Once I opened the box I could see a a box for growing your own cat grass. Teddy always trys to eat any house plant we have so hopefully having his own grass patch will stop that, very excited to start growing! The tub even comes with it's own soil!

There were also some bags of treats for Ted bear, High life chicken breast treats plus two bags of Arden Garden grain free treats, safe to say Teddy loved them all.

Then for humans was a beautiful little key ring from Flamingo candles that has "mother of cats" inscribed on it, a customised Gus and Bella candle, a little bag of Hames heart chocolates and a fantastic "Happy Catmum Day" card from Pickle & Nancy.

All the contents in the box are fabulous and I am genuinely really pleased with what you get in the box, there's a nice balance of who gets what and I feel like everything that was inside will be put to use instead of sitting in a drawer.

See all of March's box contents in my unboxing video

I couldn't be happier with the box and I know Teddy approves as he couldn't get enough of it. Ted has been using the cat tunnel as a hide away, munching on  the treats and waiting patiently for the grass to grow, literally! And everything for the human is brilliant, useful and a lovely treat.

So would I recommend Gus & Bella? Yes, I really would! You can feel the passion that is put into the company, the products are great and the price is quite good considering the amount you get.

  2. Aww this looks great! Given his obsession with boxes, Boot's might actually like a cat tunnel. I've never tried cat grass either, and its great that it comes with the soil you need.

    Looks like a fab box!
