Effective Blogging Resources All Bloggers Need to Know About

AD – Contains own products | Guide to Blogging Part One – Effective Blogging Resources
Starting a blog is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done for myself. When I first started back in 2015 I had no idea I would ever get to the stage I’m at now, coming up for 7 years!
There’s been a lot of trial and error when it comes to my blogging journey and finding what works for me.
Over the years I’ve found the most frustrating part to be finding tips and help to get past certain hurdles. From growing my following to boosting traffic, I’ve tried it all.
It can be daunting not knowing where to start looking for help or even implementing information you’ve found. I know that I struggled a lot when it came to finding resources that genuinely helped me turn my blog into a success.
With so much information out there all about blogging, it’s hard knowing what’s a waste of time or genuinely helpful.
From ebooks to courses, I’ve given it all a go in the hopes it would help me make a real go at running a successful blog. Soaking up as much information as I could along the way has helped me tweak and implement certain strategies to grow my blog to what it is now.
From 100 views a month to now gaining between 7-10k a month. It’s amazing what you can do when you have the right resources at your fingertips.
So, today I wanted to share some resources that have genuinely helped me grow and run a successful blog.
This is part one in the A Complete Guide to Blogging series.
Effective Blogging Resources
When I think about everything that’s helped me succeed with my blog, I think about the Blog Workbook and blog Planner.
These two products were created with one thing in mind, the blogger. As I’ve had a lot of trial and error over the years, I’ve tracked what’s worked and what hasn’t.
In figuring these things out I began to make myself resources that I could use for my blog. This is when I made the very first version of the blog workbook.

The Blog Workbook
You see, all blogging products I make have been fully rigorously tested by myself. I would make myself these things in order to get serious about making my blog a success and damn were they effective.
The goal in creating the blog Workbook was to help me understand my blog and the relationship with readers. I used it as a tool to track my stats, what content was performing the best and narrowing down my goals.
By using this workbook I got more ideas on pages to add in that would be worth trying. Some worked, some didn’t. But I got to see that first hand.
Labour of Love
The Blog Workbook really is a labour of love. Once I realised how much this was helping me, I decided to start making it more coherent and structured in order to release it to the public.
I turned it from something I used on my ipad to keep me organised and focused to a fully digital and printable product.
There is a fully fillable PDF meaning you can use it with a multitude of applications such as Preview on Mac, Adobe Reader, PDF reader and more. There are text boxes and check boxes throughout allowing you to add your information in.
But, if you would prefer to print the workbook, there’s also a PDF specifically made for printing so you’re getting the best quality.
Here’s a product description
“This blogging workbook has been created with you, the blogger at the forefront. As a full time blogger myself, I know how important it is to have a plan that works and fits YOUR needs.
Organisation is key to success and having a foolproof plan will help take your blog to the next level.
This workbook will take you through your plan step by step to help you get a better idea of what it is you need to do to achieve your goals and run a successful blog.
But the best part about this workbook is that it leaves room for change. If at any point you need to revisit your plan and make changes, you can.
Because I know that life throws curveballs when we least expect it and we need adaptability.
This workbook offers you that adaptability.
Plus, there are also really handy blog planning pages to help get your blog organised and keep you on top of blog organisation.
There are a variety of useful pages that are designed to help you create your very best content, with checklists and more.
You will also find room for tracking your stats, setting goals, planning social media posts, monthly evaluations and more.
Take charge of your blogging journey today and take your blog to the next level with this Blog Workbook.”

Blog Planner
As well as creating a blog Workbook for myself, I also created a planner.
The very first one I made was a bright pink Planner that was completely customised to my needs. I created it and used it religiously.
Going through the motions with the planner and finding what worked was such a turning point. I finally figured out what actually worked, what was needed and I was overjoyed.
I had myself a fully functioning blog Planner that allowed me to be productive, work on my blog and stay super organised.
It was important to me that the Planner functioned in two ways merging as one. You see, although I want space for all my blog stuff, it’s also great having the space to organise my everyday life.
With room for all things blog and person, the planner is an ideal one time purchase. No need for multiple planners or organisers, you’re able to have it all in one.

Here’s a product description
“As a blogger I know how Important it is to keep on top of the mounting blog to-do list. We have a million things to do it seems all whilst keeping our blog ticking over.
That’s why I have designed this Blogging Planner with every blogger in mind. Made by a blogger for bloggers.
The key to a successful and well run blog is organisation, it is imperative that we have what we need at our fingertips, and whilst there are a lot of planners on the market, they aren’t all created with bloggers in mind.
A smart investment
Unlike other traditional planners, this Blog Planner can be purchased once and used over and over again, making this a smart one time investment. You control how you use your planner.”
The Blog Planner is a tool that’s made for you to have the best blogging experience possible. Keeps you organised, on schedule and helps you stay on top of blog maintenance plus helps with creating unique, stand out content.
With handy checklists and room to brainstorm and track those out of the blue content ideas, this makes for a blogger’s best friend.
Never be unorganised with your blog again.”
