Body positive affirmations can be a really powerful tool to help transform your mindset.

They can also help in fostering a healthier relationship with your body.

Here’s a quick guide I’ve put together to help you get started with using these body positive affirmations daily.

The first step in using your body positive affirmations is to become aware of your negative self talk.

Pay attention to the thoughts you have about your own body and how these thoughts make you feel.

Common negative thoughts tend to include criticism of your appearance, comparing yourself to others, or feeling unworthy.

Recognising these patterns is important as it allows you to replace them with positive affirmations.

Once you’ve identified your negative thoughts, create affirmations that directly counter them.

Make sure your affirmations are positive, present tense, and specific to you.

For example, if you think, “I don’t like my body,” you can replace it with, “My body is strong and capable.”

With the affirmations I’ve mentioned above you can create a list that is personalised to you and your needs.

Tailoring these affirmations to address your specific insecurities will make them all the more impactful.

Consistency is key when it comes to using affirmations and having them work.

Set aside time each day to repeat your affirmations, whether that’s in front of your mirror, during a meditation session, or as part of your morning routine.

Saying these affirmations out loud can be especially powerful.

Additionally, you could write them down in a journal or place sticky notes with your affirmations on your mirror or around your home.

Over time, these positive statements can help rewire your brain to adopt a more positive and accepting mindset towards your body.

By incorporating body positive affirmations into your daily routine, you can begin to change the way you view yourself and improve your overall self esteem.

Remember, the goal is to create a loving and compassionate relationship with your body, celebrating its uniqueness and strengths.

Because you ARE beautiful, unique and deserve to love your body.

With patience and persistence, these affirmations can lead to a more positive and empowering mindset.
