Taking a Look at My November To-Do List | 2022 Edition
Hello and happy November!
October and spooky season is over now *cries internally* and my mind is now fully on Christmas and festivities.
Since November rolled around all I can think about is how this festive season I’m making sure I’m present and in the moment.
The past few years I’ve been extra busy by this time where all I’m thinking about is work and gift guides.
It’s plagued the last few festive seasons with worry and stress meaning I can’t quite enjoy myself.
I’m relaxing this festive period
So, this year I’ve made a rule where I’m not taking on too much.
I’m not overly invested in Gift guides as I’ve turned a lot down so I can relax and stop the stress. I’ve also scheduled in time off which I’ve not done in years at Christmas.
For once I’m actually really excited for Christmas time and all that comes with it. Spending time with Little Bear is top priority and I’m so relieved.
Anyway, enough babbling on about that, let’s dive into my November To-Do List.

My November To-Do List
Now it’s time to take a look at what my To-Do list is like this month.
As I’m trying not to take on too much this year in the run up to Christmas, I’m keeping that in mind with this month’s list, short and sweet.
Create an at home office
For a while now I have been toying with the idea of creating an at home office.
There is a spare room across from mine that is pretty much wasted space and I’ve been using it as a bit of a dumping ground lately.
So, I’ve made the decision to finally clear it out and create an at home office space where I can go to work without distraction. Honestly can’t even begin to describe how excited I am about this because I’ll finally have a dedicated office.
Get the rest of Little Bears presents
With Christmas fast approaching I’m planning to make sure Little Bear’s are all sorted first.
This year he is obsessed with Pokemon so I’m creating a massive Gift Box filled with Pokemon things like clothes, hat, toys, plushie, Nintendo switch case and more.
He also has a new, orange bike on his list this year so I’ve got that ordered and ready to pick up on Christmas eve.
There are a few other bits and bobs he would like so I’m keeping my eyes out for them and hoping to have it all in before December.
Figure out what to get my gran and other half
I have absolutely no idea of what gifts to get them this year and it’s frying my brain.
With no ideas, I’m finding it difficult to actually start buying some presents in and get a head starts. Hopefully something will come to mind and soon.
Create sets of Winter and Christmas nails
With winter and Christmas on their way, I need to get some nail sets made.
I love doing themed nails and there are a few designs I’m excited to try this year.
Clear out Little Bears room
As Christmas is approaching, Little bear really needs to have a clear out of old, broken toys.
I’ll be creating two piles, one from broken toys for the bin, and a pile for toys to donate. Can’t wait to finally get it all cleared out and make some room!

A look back at October’s To-Do List
Go away for a few days during the October Holiday
Happy to say that I did indeed achieve this!
Little Bear and I took a 4 day trip to my friends caravan during the October week. It was so much fun and great to relax for a bit.
We went to the beach, got soaking, painted rocks, played games, watched movies and generally had a fantastic time.
Start more Halloween Baking
Yep! We done a lot of fun Halloween baking in October.
I think Little Bear had the most fun because he was a lot more involved this year as he really got into it. A lot of the time I just had to stand back and watch him.
Carve Pumpkins
Another one we ticked off the list!
Little Bear and I had a lot of fun carving pumpkins one Sunday evening while watching some Halloween movies.
Night Away for L’s Birthday
Very happy that I did indeed tick this one off.
My friend and I went to her caravan for a night where we celebrated her birthday with balloons and cake.
Sort Little Bears Halloween Costume
For the first year ever, Little Bear didn’t change his mind a million times before settling on a costume.
This year he was dead set on going as Eddie Munson from Stranger Things. So, I was searching everywhere for all the must have pieces.
I’m happy to say that he absolutely loved his costume and all his friends said they liked it. I had one happy boy at Halloween that’s for sure.
The only thing he didn’t get was a wig but that’s because he absolutely HATES anything on his head now because he says the noises of his hair and such in hats makes him feel sick.
Here’s the items I bought to create the look, all from Amazon:
- Faux Leather Jacket
- Iron-on patches for denim Jacket
- Temporary Tattoos – This pack and This pack
- Hellfire Club Top
- Black Jeans
- Denim Jacket – I took the sleeves off
- Guitar Pick Necklace
Use Treadmill 4x a week
Although I have been using my treadmill a lot more, I haven’t been using it 4x a week.
Have multiple themed movie nights
Very happy to say that we did indeed have a few themed movie nights.
Although I didn’t get to go as big as planned with themed food and such, we did have little snack trays with food and such that sort of worked. It was amazing though.
Batch take photos
Yep, this is another one I ticked off!
Create Halloween Inspired nails
I did indeed create a few sets of Halloween themed nails. There were bat nails, pumpkin nails and Beetlejuice inspired nails.
Ghost photoshoot with little bear
Unfortunately we didn’t get to do our photoshoot this year. I forgot to take the sheet with us on our little getaway and the day we picked to do it (the 30th October) wasn’t very nice weather wise.
