It feels like Father’s Day is just around the corner, June 20th will be here quicker than we know, especially since this year seems to be flying past.

My mind has been in gift mode for weeks now trying to find that perfect present for my other half.

I’ve sent texts and dropped subtle questions into conversation, yet I’ve gotten the same answer each time. Nothing.

My little one has also been pestering dad for some ideas because he’s one of those men who just never want anything so we don’t know where to start.

It’s endearing at times when he says “a big hug will do”, but little bear always wants to get his dad the best gifts. He’s his superhero.

My Thoughts

As soon as I connected with one of the Paguro Upcycle team, I instantly fell in love with this brand, not only from an aesthetic stand point as their items are genuinely very pleasing on the eyes, but their values really resonated with me.

As a female owned brand who is passionate about working with charities such as Transforming lives for good and Plastic Oceans, I couldn’t help but feel drawn to them.

Brands who are forward thinking and passionate about the planet as well as local communities and fair wages hold a special place in my heart.

The Bag

As soon as the bag arrived, I was in awe. I knew it looked amazing from the photos but when I held it in my hands, I could feel the quality.

It’s the perfect size for all your needs. Got a dad who works away? Maybe he likes to be outdoors, go camping and hiking? Maybe he just likes to be on trend?

No matter what, this bag fits the bill. With a laptop compartment and plenty of little pockets to keep organised, this bag is great for travel and everyday use.

The bag is made from upcycled canvas that comes from military tents, which is hard-wearing and waterproof. It’s also got reclaimed rubber from tyre inner tubes to add rigidity and strength.

I genuinely cannot recommend this bag enough, it’s been a huge hit in my house with both my little one and his dad. If there is ever a children’s version made, you best believe I’ll be snapping that right up.

I already have my eye on a couple of bags for myself that I’m definitely saving for.

I also have a professional chocolate enthusiast in my house, my gran. When I say this woman knows her stuff, I mean it.

Chocolate has always been her thing and this 7″ chocolate pizza was given the seal of approval within seconds of her taking her first bite.

It’s beautifully presented and I love how unique it is. It’s items like this that make me love independant companies, you really couldn’t find this quality and uniqueness anywhere else.

My Mini Maker Father’s Day Kit

This Mini Maker Father’s Day kit is perfect for the little ones to get creative and make something from the heart.

With everything you’ll need to create some superhero masks and a handmade card, you can’t go wrong with this stress and mess free kit.

I couldn’t believe how easy the kit was to use. The instructions were clear, all pieces were included and all I had to supply was some glue and scissors.

It was also very straightforward to piece together and my son done the whole thing himself.

The instructions show how the masks can be put together but there is also freedom for kids to do their own thing.

On the green mask Little bear copied the pictures on the instructions but on the blue mask, he wanted to make it unique, just like his dad.

I love how his masks turned out and he does as well, he can’t wait to present them on Father’s Day.

The card is also an amazing idea, the use of hand tracing and turning them into superheroes is a lovely touch which follows the superhero theme.

This was Little bears favourite part because he got to use scissors and draw around his hands. Spiderman is one of his favourite superheroes so I think that also tipped the scales in the cards favour.

I genuinely can’t recommend this kit enough. It’s perfect for making Father’s Day that bit more special whilst also getting creative with the kids.

I was very kindly sent the BBQ set and I have to say, I am so impressed with the quality. The box they come in is beautifully presented and perfect for housing a collection of 5 sauces.

I’ve had a little try of each of them, using them as a dipping sauce and my personal favourite is the Mexican Fury. Although they are all delicious and pack a punch, the Mexican fury is *chefs kiss*.
