My December To Do

After missing my November to do list last month, it feels good to be on top of my December one. I love writing a to do list, it helps me stay organised and on top of life. I only need to look at the mess November was to see I need structure and goals to work towards.

So, I have created a full on to do list for December to make up for that. This month is all about getting prepped to take some time off from work to celebrate Christmas, and enjoy the new addition to the family.

On December 2nd, we got a new puppy, who we named Poppy. She is a 6 month old rescue from Romania and oh my gosh what a delight she is. We think she may be a cross between a short legged Jack Russel and Sausage dog, but we can’t be sure.

Since she got here, she’s been amazing. Does the toilet outside, sleeping through the night and eating well. We couldn’t be more proud of the newest addition. Poppy loves a good belly run and cuddling up to sleep. She also loves playing with her ball and zoomies in the garden.

Anyway, I could talk forever about Poppy, but I’ll leave that for another time. Today is all about my to do list. Let’s take a look shall we?

My December To Do List

• Wrap Christmas Presents

Although I’m on the ball with Christmas presents, I’m way behind on wrapping them. Normally they are done and ready to go by now, but with getting a new puppy, things have been full on.

So, I want to pick a night and get all presents wrapped while listening to my Christmas Playlist or watching a Christmas Movie.

• Sort Kids Countdown to Christmas bags

Every year I make up a little countdown to Christmas bags for the kids. It’s a little gift bag filled with Christmas themed items that the kids can open the week before Christmas to get excited.

I’ve got all the contents, just need to make them up now.

• Buy Poppy a Stocking

As Poppy is a new member of the family, we have to get her a stocking. I’m looking into some personalised ones and there is such a good range out there.

I’m so excited to buy Christmas presents for her. She’s going to be spoiled!

• Finish New Digital/Printable Products

I’ve been working on a new range of products for months now. Life kept getting in the way though so I wasn’t able to release some of them when I wanted.

That’s why I decided to leave them a bit longer and work on them. The plan is to now put them with my 2022 collection.

• Get Pet Insurance Sorted

I’ve been looking into different pet insurers lately. Can’t make my mind up though on which one to go for. Ideally I wanted it sorted by now, so I need to make the decision ASAP.

It’s just boggling my mind knowing which one will be best. After my car insurance getting mucked up, I don’t want the same luck with pet insurance.

• Have a Christmas Movie Night

With Christmas coming up, it’s only right we have a movie night! I want to make a big thing of it this year as we haven’t done as many festive things as I would have liked. So, the movie night will be a chance to make up for that.

I’m planning to get big bowls of popcorn and baked goods, with a movie night in bed.

• Send out Christmas Cards

I love to send Christmas cards out. It’s nice sending little minders this time of year. I’ve signed up to Katie’s Christmas Card swap as well, so I’m going to write cards out for that too.

• Make 5 sales

The end of the year is upon us, so ideally I’d like to make some sales to close the year out on a high. Keeping my fingers crossed I hit this goal.

I create digital and printable products for Bloggers, Creatives and Professionals. If you fancy having a look, check out my Gumroad & Etsy stores.
