My June To-Do List | 2022 Edition

My June To-Do List | 2022 Edition
June is here! The school holidays are coming up and that means we can just pack up the car and off we go.
To say I’m excited is an understatement. I can’t wait to head off with Little Bear and make more memories.
The plan is to go even more days out, more camping trips and more weekends away than last year.
I just want Little Bear to have so many fun memories and enjoy life, especially after the past few years. It’s definitely brought a new perspective to life.

My June To-Do List
As the summer holidays are coming up, I’ve got a full to-do list this month.
There’s lots of planning and preparation to be done so that we can have a fun filled summer with lots going on.
Let’s take a look at June’s To-Do list

Book car in for MOT and get it cleaned out
My cars due its MOT this month, so I need to get it booked in and make sure the car is ready for all the road trips.
I also need to get my car cleaned out. It’s not bad, but due to taking Poppy out a lot to go for walks and such, her hair seems to be everywhere. Plus, it’s good to give it a good clean every few months.
So, that’s what I’ll be doing this month. Getting it gutted out, seats shampooed, floors deep cleaned, windows washed on both sides, new oil put in, top up screen wash and all the other little details to get it looking its best.
Hit 140k steps for the month
As I’m taking charge of my fitness and getting back on track with my health, I’m setting myself the goal of 140k steps for the month.
I find when I set steps for the month rather than the days, it’s easier to achieve because I’m not getting myself down each day if I don’t hit the target.
With my Fibro, some days can mean I barely hit 3k. So, I’m taking that into account and setting a monthly step goal instead. And now that I’ve got a treadmill, I’m hoping this will make achieving my goal easier.
Sort summer plans for trips away
As I mentioned at the beginning, the school summer holidays start this month. So, getting some plans together for trips away and days out will help fill those 6 weeks.
Last year we kind of winged it and went away with very little planning. Although it’s nice to have those spontaneous trips, I’d like to get some plans together so Little bear has something to look forward to.
We will still have those last minute days away and trips, but I want to be a bit more intentional this time.
Create 6 new nail sets
As the summer holidays will be filled with plans (I hope!), I won’t have much time to make up some new sets of nails. So, I’d like to make at least 6 sets which will see me through the summer holidays.
This will help as I won’t be scrambling trying to get them made up on time. They will simply be in my nail box waiting to be used.
It’s all about preparation this month!
Get a new dress
I am loving maxi dresses at the moment! Honestly, my Obsession is strong right now and I find myself lusting after so many at the moment. They make me feel good as I’m not so confident about my legs and I just love the style.
So, I’d like to invest in a new dress or two for the summer.
There’s loads I’ve got my eye on at the moment so hopefully I’ll be able to treat myself to one.
Clean out the tent and test the air beds
As we will be going camping again this summer, I need to get the tent cleared out. It’s not too bad, but since last year it’s been in the bag so I’d like to get it cleaned out and washed so it’s nice and fresh.
Hopefully the good weather sticks around so I can get it out in the garden to be cleaned.
The air beds also need to be tested because I’m sure one has a hole and I can’t remember which one. So, that will be on the agenda as well.
Get new digital products listed on my Etsy
Over the past few weeks I’ve put together some new digital products for my Etsy store.
There’s
- Instagram story templates
- Pinterest templates for small businesses
- Thank you card templates
- Small business branding packs
- And more
So, I’d quite like to get them onto Etsy this month so it’s all done for the summer.
Make The Blogging Resource Library public
I have been working on The Blogging Resource Library this past month to get it ready for going live.
It’s going to be a space dedicated to free and premium Blogging Resources for Bloggers. The aim is to share effective and valuable tools and resources that can be used by all Bloggers.
Now all that’s left to do is get it all organised and then go live.
Get content for the blog sorted
As I’m looking to get prepared for the summer, I want to get on top of blog content as it’s slowed down the past few weeks.
My plan is to get posts prepped and ready for hitting publish.

Look back at May’s To-Do List
Have a blog maintenance week
Happy to say that I did indeed have a blog maintenance week. I managed to get rid of all broken links, 15 posts updated, alt text fixed on a lot of photos, internal links put into older posts and more.
So glad I took the time to get on top of it all.
Buy myself flowers
Ticked this one off! I got myself a lovely bunch of pink and white flowers, they were so pretty.
Plan other half’s birthday
Another one ticked off. We had a lovely time celebrating and chilling out which was nice.
Finish off 5 blog posts
Unfortunately my mental health wasn’t in the right space during May, so I only got a few sorted out. I did however get two guest posts put out and a few done for my blog.
Work on Etsy store
I’m happy to report that I have been working hard on my Etsy store still and it’s paying off. In May I made 5 more sales which might not sound like a lot to some, but I’m honestly over the moon at that.
This month I’m aiming for 6 sales! Fingers crossed.
Work on affiliate marketing
As May wasn’t great for my Mental Health, I didn’t focus too hard on affiliate marketing which I am annoyed at. But, I didn’t want to take on too much.
Create 4 sets of nails
Happy to say that I did indeed make 4 sets of nails! They have all been used now though because one set got ruined, Poppy got a hold of a few before I put them away and chewed them up.
Post Grandpa’s birthday package
I’d love to say that I ticked this one off but unfortunately the order I placed for a present came and it was the wrong item! So I’m still waiting on a replacement. Rather annoyed about this, but these things happen.
