Since 2016 I have started to take the condition of my hair very seriously.
After years and years of bleaching, dying and heat damage, I finally decided to get serious about my locks.

Starting my New Nordic Hair Volume Journey
Since the end of October 2019, I have been taking the New Nordic Hair Volume supplements daily.
I started out with the New Nordic Hair Volume Gummies and I’m now onto the Hair Volume plus Nail Strong.
I’m about half way through my supply now as I was sent out a three month supply.
As I’m half way through, I wanted to share my thoughts and opinions on these supplements so far and how I’m getting on.
So, without further ado, lets dive in shall we?

A little bit about the Hair Volume Gummies

My thoughts on the New Nordic Hair Volume Gummies
I started off with the Hair Volume Gummies around the end of October 2019, they were easy to incorporate into my daily routine, taking two in the morning after my cuppa and piece of fruit.
I haven’t tried gummies before, but these tasted quite nice which was a welcomed surprise.
New Nordic state that they taste like apple, but I personally didn’t get the taste apple from them. I can’t quite put my finger on the taste exactly but I did enjoy them.
I found that I got used to having these in my routine pretty quickly as it felt like a daily treat of sorts because they are in a gummy form.
This made the gummies easier to incorporate into my routine as I liked the taste and texture.
So, did I notice a difference?
To be completely 100% with you all, I didn’t notice any difference in my hair.
I knew that if there was going to be any sort of noticeable difference, it won’t be in the ends of my hair or the hair that has already grown from the follicle prior to taking the supplements as that’s not how it works.
The difference will be in any hair that grows whilst I am taking these.
I didn’t see any difference, so I was a bit worried about seeing any results at all, especially when I was moving onto the Hair Volume plus Nail strong tablets.

A little bit about the Hair Volume Plus Nail Strong Tablets
The New Nordic Hair Volume plus Nail Strong tablets come in a box of 60, just like the gummies and the recommended dose is exactly the same.

Moving onto the Hair Volume Plus Nail Strong Tablets
After I finished the gummies, I moved onto the Hair Volume plus Nail Strong tablets, continuing to take them in the morning after my cuppa and fruit.
I will be honest, I find these easier to have in my routine as you just take two tablets and it’s done.
But that’s my preference and I still enjoyed the gummies all the same.
I don’t enjoy the taste of the tablets though, I can’t put my finger on it, but it tastes like a herbal tablet I have had before, which makes sense as these are filled with natural herbal ingredients.
I am almost finished this box, with 3 days to go.
Although, I did miss two weeks out.
Unfortunately I was really sick meaning I couldn’t keep anything down, including tablets but I carried on once the sickness was over.
So, have I noticed a difference with these?
Again, being 100% honest, YES!
Now, I still haven’t noticed anything new with my hair, it’s growing at its normal rate, it doesn’t feel or look any different around the roots but I have noticed a difference with my nails!
I can’t even begin to explain how happy this makes me because as someone who wears false nails constantly, I need all the help I can get to keep my natural nails looking and feeling good.
My nails have been growing a lot faster than normal plus they feel a lot stronger.
They are also no longer snapping when I take nails off, the length is staying!
At this rate, I may not need false nails anymore which would be a dream.
In conclusion, I haven’t found a difference in my hair, but I have in my nails.
I still have another month’s worth to take so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will start to see a difference in my hair as I have read many reviews where people have seen a difference and I selfishly want that for myself!
I will be updating you all at the end, when I have taken all 180 supplements and I will be paying close attention to my roots, praying to see a difference.
