Monsters' Ball Lush Bath Bomb Review

I've made no secret about being absolutely obsessed with Lush, it's a company I really love, that I stand behind and often spend a lot of money in lol It's been a while since I reviewed anything though, mainly because I lost my spark for reviews but after a little haul and falling in love with the Halloween range, I got my passion back.

Today I'm here to tell you all about Monsters' Ball bath bomb which is part of the Halloween range, it first made its debut back in 2016 , every year I've picked it up and it's my 2nd favourite from the range, first being the bewitched bubble bar.

So, where do I begin with this? I can't express just how much I love the scent, to me it smells a little like Fizzbanger in a way, well that's what it reminds me of a little. It's like a sherbet but I find it quite tricky to pinpoint as my friend smells some lime in there. I've been doing some reading up on this bath bomb and have found out it the scent shares it's with the Calacas family which is really popular within the Lush range.

This bath bomb performs beautifully when submerged into the water, you'll be treated to a feast of spooktacular colours, truly taking your water from drab to ball in no time!! You'll be basking in baby blues, beautiful pinks and superb purples creating the most stunning shade of purple with what looks like slight white bubbles on the surface. It truly is a masterpiece in the water and I 100% get why Monsters' Ball is a big hit. Also, the white eye in the bath bomb is a beautiful bath melt that will leave a beautiful silky feeling to your skin, it's the best of both worlds!

The only drawback for me with this bath bomb is that it can stain, little bear loves to play with them, he crushes them in his hands and unfortunately I had to scrub and scrub at his hands to get it off plus the bottom of the bath needed a few scrubs before it was gone. This isn't a huge factor for me as there are a few others that do this, it's never permanent and the positives for me far out weight this.

  3. I haven’t been in Lush in the longest time, reading this post wants me to have a shop haha! The design is so cute and so good for Halloween. It makes the water such a beautiful colour. A bit of a pain it can stain a bit, but like you say the positives definitely cancel that out. Thank you for sharing Jordanne! Next time I am in town I am going to have a look ❤️Xxx
