My Birthday Wish list | Turning 29 Edition [Updated for 2025]
With my 29th birthday on the horizon, I thought it would be fun to share my birthday wish list.
It’s a strange feeling knowing my birthday is coming up on 18th September, especially when I feel like I haven’t been 28 for long enough.
The months really are zooming past.
My gran would always say that when you get older time moves faster and I never really believed her. I do now!

The rate the days are moving at should be criminal. Bring back the long days as a child thinking the day would never end.
Anyway, enough waffling about time and how it’s confusing now. Let’s take a look at my birthday wish list.
Practical Wish List
Black Low Top Converse
This year I have split my lists up into a couple of sections based on the level of want, price and practicality. This list is all about being practical and items that I genuinely do need.
I feel like there are fairies in the house stealing all of my canvas bags because I’m down to one and I have no idea where the others are, sigh. So, I would love a couple of new ones, especially some witchy vibe tote bags.
I also wanted to add on some skincare products to the list because I’m running a bit low, so more would be ideal.
I use them everyday so they are practical. Some hair care items would be perfect also, especially as I need more Goldwell Shampoo & Conditioner.
The last practical item on the list is new converse. Although the ones I have aren’t wrecked, I could use a new pair for going into autumn with.
Lusting After Wish List
Instax Mini Printer & Instax Mini Film
For my lusting after section these gifts are the ones that may be a little pricier or not a direct necessity, but I would still like them all the same.
This year I have my eye on the Instax Mini 40 and the Instax Mini Printer.
Now, I know that they both do exactly the same job, producing polaroid’s. But, I would quite like them both because I would love to be able to print photos I’ve taken on my phone into a polaroid but I still want to have the option of taking a Polaroid camera out on special trips.
I know I can’t have both, but a girl can dream.
Oh, and some polaroid prints to go with either of them would be good.
Perfume is something else I’m lusting after. I adore the Marc Jacobs Daisy Love perfume, it’s actually my favourite.
So, I wouldn’t mind another bottle. I’ve also added a Marie from Disney’s Aristocats mug because well, I love cats, I love mugs and I love Marie.
I don’t need anymore, but that doesn’t stop me lusting after yet another.
Last but by no means least, a pink heavy weighted blanket.
I have been after a weighted blanket for a while now and when I saw this chunky knitted one, I knew I had to have it. I don’t know where has stock, but buying off a small business would be the goal so I’d have to find one before suggesting this as a gift idea.
Little Extras
There are a few other little extras on my wish list that would be great as well. I would just be over the moon if I unwrapped them on my birthday!

And that’s My Birthday Wish list. I had so much fun putting this post together as it’s made me so excited for the big day coming around.
I think I’m just so excited to be able to see people this year and be with my loved ones on my birthday. It’s going to make such a difference.

Well, you’ve certainly given people plenty of options to choose from, haven’t you? And all at reasonable prices, too.
I know what you mean about the years going by faster and faster. I suppose it’s all relative, isn’t it? When you are 5 a year represents 20% of your life to date, but when you are 30 it’s only a little over 3% 😉
I always get told I’m hard to buy for so I like to give options lol

I have a Gua Sha stone but I can never figure out how to really use it! I mean, I do know how to use it because I’ve looked up tutorials and what not, but I can’t ever tell if it actually does anything (same thing with a jade roller).
But your list is so fun and cute! Hopefully you’ll get some of these items for your birthday.

I have been making lists come my birthday for the past couple years as I think it makes a huge difference not only to me but also to the people who care about me and want to give me something I will use and remember. I love the quirky and fun items I always receive too, as there is something special about an item the giver picked out themself.
