My 30th Birthday Wishlist | Hitting the Big 30 Edition!

My 30th Birthday Wishlist | Hitting the Big 30 Edition! [Updated – Feb 2025]
Ah, the birthday wishlist.
Something that stresses me out to no end because I never know what I definitely want or need.
But, every year I make it and it’s sent into the family group chat.
This isn’t my idea though, no, no this was my other half’s doing as apparently I’m quite hard to buy for!
So, I put together a list of little bits and pieces I need and or want.

Last Year’s Birthday Wishlist
Last year I decided to share my birthday wishlist on the blog for some content and I thought I would do the same this year.
I’ll be turning 30 this September 18th, the big 30! And I won’t lie, I’m a little nervous if I’m honest.
Getting older always makes me feel a bit weird and I get to overthinking about my entire life.
This year its no different and I’m filled with so much internal stress it’s unreal.
So, I’m trying to stay positive and think of the good things in life, which is a chat for another day.
Let’s take a look at my 30th Birthday Wishlist shall we?
My 30th Birthday Wishlist
When I make my lists I like to create two categories, one for things I need and are practical and one for things I’m simply lusting after that aren’t necessarily essential.
Let’s take a look at my practical list first.
Practical 30th Birthday Wishlist

On my list of practical items this year I’ve gone with a big ticket item of Dr Martens Sandals and a few other pieces.
For me the sandals are both practical and a need as I currently don’t own any sandals at all.
I’m always wearing Converse, but after the weather this year, I really need some shoes that will let the air around my feet.
So, I thought the Dr Martens sandals were a good choice due to comfort and longevity.
I’ve heard amazing things about them and all the reviews are singing their praises.
The Smaller Practical Items
The rest of the items I’ve got, I’ve categorised as smaller ticket items as they aren’t as expensive.
Although, the Casetify phone cover isn’t exactly cheap! Luckily I have a code for 40% off so I’ve sent that over along with the link in the chat just in case.
I’m super clumsy with my phone and I’ve found their cases to be my favourite.
I’ve dropped my phone so many times and it still looks good as new.
Perfect for a clutz like myself.
I only have one case that fits at the moment so I’d like another to change with.
Skincare & Hair Care
I’ve also got some skincare and hair care products on the list as I really need some top ups.
On the list is:
- Revskn Salicylicacid & Zinc Pca Purifying Water Gel Cream
- Dry Shampoo
- Dermalogica Lip Treatment
- TEMPLESPA SPA IN THE BEGINNING Deep Cleansing Melt
- TEMPLESPA LET’S CONCENTRATE Serum
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Heat defence spray for hair
- Argan oil
- Hair mouss
- Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray
Misc Items
Then on the rest of my practical list I have a couple of tote bags, one which I am OBSESSED with and a travel mug.
I love using tote bags so it would be nice to add a couple to my collection and that Witch Vibes Tote Bag one just calls to me.
And although I have tons of mugs and travel mugs, I could always use another.
The design is just so me and it caught my attention straight away.
Plus, I love that the Travel Mug says Purrfect Brew, love it!
Lusting After 30th Birthday Wishlist

1st Big Item
My lusting after list this year contains a really expensive item that I feel bad for adding, but I’ve been wanting it for so long I had to.
I am of course talking about the Sigma Macro Lens for my camera.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about this lens and it’s one I’ve not got in my collection.
Honestly, I would freak out if I actually got this!
2nd Big Item
Next on the list I have the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser.
I’ve been wanting a hair dryer like this for so long.
I always want that bouncy hair look and a bit more volume at the root, so this sounds perfect.
Genuinely would love to have this hair tool and hopefully achieve the bouncy blow out look.
3rd Big Item
Last of the big items I have Daisy Love by Marc Jacobs perfume.
This is my absolutely favourite perfume of all time.
Normally I do get this every year from Little Bear, so I would be surprised if I don’t get it.
But I still had to add it as I love it so much and I love that it’s my boy’s signature present for me.
1st Small Item
First of my small items I have some bath bombs. My supply is fully gone and bath time just isn’t as fun anymore.
So, I would love some new bath bombs to add to it. Keeping my fingers crossed!
2nd Small Item
Next up I have some pumpkin bed covers from Asda.
I love love love bedding sets, I have way too many but still insist on buying more.
So you would think I would have an Autumn bedspread by now, unfortunately that’s not the case.
I’d love to get this set because it’s so darn cute and then I would have an Autumn bedspread!
3rd Small Item
The third small item is a scrapbook photo album that is designed like a clapper board.
Having studied film and TV, I love anything that has the theme of film making.
I would always love doing the clapper board when filming and still enjoy using mine as a prop in photos.
So, I would love the scrapbook photo album that looks like this to keep fond memories in.
4th Small Item
Last of the list of small items I’ve got on the list are a couple of books.
I’ve gotten into reading again over the summer but I’ve ran out of books to read.
So, I’m on a mission to stock pile some books to get stuck into over Autumn and winter.
I’ve got a bunch of books on my list which incluDe:
- The List by Carys Jones
- Dead Girls Can’t Lie by Carys Jones
- Tag, You’re Dead by Kathryn Foxfield
- It’s Behind You by Kathryn Foxfield
- The Island by C.L. Taylor
- How To Kill Your Family by Bella Mackie
Misc 30th Birthday Wishlist Items
Although those are all my main 30th Birthday Wishlist items I’d really want, I do have a few others on the list just as filler that I would be thankful to receive.
These are
- Tipsy Tea
- New LED Nail Polish
- New studio lights
- Bluetooth/WiFi camera controller as my old faithful one has now broken (had it for 8 years!)
- Phone to mic connector for my blue yeti
- Mugs
- Pyjamas
- Purse
- Bag
- Dress
- Leggings
- Ankle socks

Final Thoughts on My Birthday Wishlist
And there you have it, my 30th Birthday Wishlist!
Although I’m excited for my birthday celebrations to start as we have a week away booked, I’m slightly nervous about turning 30.
I’m just hoping that I don’t have an internal meltdown over my life’s regrets so far!
