My April To-Do List | 2022 Edition

My April To-Do List | 2022 Edition

Happy April! It’s a new month and that means a whole new chapter in the year full of possibilities and opportunities.

I am determined more than ever right now to take the bull by the horns so to speak and give life my all. After being sick for a while there where I was practically bed bound, I’m itching to be as productive as possible.

My April To-Do List

Get on top of Spring Cleaning

Since I’ve been sick for a while, I haven’t been able to get the spring cleaning started. Normally we do a massive clear out and gut the house top to bottom. But, with being sick that’s not been possible.

So, now that I’m on the mend it’s time to get the spring cleaning underway and get the house all fresh and clean.

Plus, I have products from Smol that I’m testing out and I was really enjoying using them before I was bed bound. Very intrigued to put them to good use.

Organise meetups with friends and family

I feel like I’ve not seen much of my friends or had as many visiting days with family the past few months. There has been a lot going on so it’s not been possible, but now that things are looking up, it’s time to get those meetups planned.

I really miss the interactions and I know LB does as well. It’s time to start making more time to see those we love and cherish.

Make the most of LB’s two weeks off school

LB has two weeks off school for Easter, so I really want to make the most of that time off. I want him to have a great time as things haven’t been the best for him lately due to bullies.

He made a statement about feeling safer when he’s in the house because when he’s playing, he keeps getting picked on and he’s scared. It broke my heart to hear that, as a parent you never want your child to feel unsafe.

So, I want to make sure his Easter holidays are filled with fun and good memories.

Give my Etsy store my all

My Etsy store is struggling. Well, it’s flat lined if I’m completely honest. I’ve hit a bit of a brick wall when it comes to my Etsy shop and I feel like a fish out of water.

Having a viable Etsy store has been a huge goal of mine and I really want to make it work, especially as the cost of living has gone up yet again and things are, well, they are tight at the moment.

I hate to admit it, but money worries are a huge strain on my mental health at the moment. There’s been a good few times where I’ve been in the negative with my bank just so I could pay bills and put food on the table. It’s a hard thing to admit, but it’s true.

So, I need to get a grip and start really pushing my business a lot more. The plan is to keep creating and learning as much as I can about Etsy to really make things work.

If you would like to check out my Etsy store it would mean THE WORLD, it really would. You can see it here – etsy.com/shop/Jordanneleecreative

Clear out my Gumroad store

Just like I have an Etsy store, I also have a Gumroad one as well. It’s a great platform for listing my products because it’s free unlike Etsy’s listing fees, so I have more products on there. But, I’m worried that there’s just too much if that makes sense.

My plan is to give it a full overhaul this month and get some of the new products listed and older ones discontinued.

Right now I have a 60% sale on my Gumroad store! 60% off EVERYTHING. So if you fancy grabbing a bargain and some digital/printable products before they are discontinued, head on over to Jordanneleecreative.gumroad.com

Use code: SALE at checkout.

Work on new content

I have so many ideas written down for new content I want to produce, but life has been chaotic lately. My plan is to start getting these ideas more fleshed out and the process of creating started.

I just feel like there’s never enough time to get on top of everything, and when I do start to make progress, there’s another set back. I’m really hoping that April is a little easier in terms of uncontrollable situations and it allows me to get ahead with my content.

Batch take photos

I feel like batch taking photos has become a staple to-do list item this year. I’m forever running out of photos for Instagram and the blog, even when I think I’ve gotten enough.

It’s annoying not having that reserve like I normally would, so I need to get on top of that.

Get back on track with my lifestyle change

As I’ve been sick for a few weeks, my healthy eating and fitness has gone out the Window. And boy do I feel the difference!

I’m a lot more sluggish again and my eating habits are erratic. So, I need to get on top of it all again and start using my lifestyle change planner because that has helped me so much. Especially the progress photos page as I can put photos in.

It’s back to moving more and eating better this month and getting back to feeling healthier.

A Look Back at My March To-Do List

Continue healthy lifestyle changes

I was so/so with this one. At the start of the month I was doing really well but when I got sick, there wasn’t much I could do other than stay in bed.

Go a weekend away with L & Poppy

At the start of March, we went a weekend away and it was AMAZING.

We took a trip up to L’s caravan at Cove and Kilcreggan which was beautiful. It was nice to relax, switch off and enjoy some adult time with beautiful views.

Apply for more writing jobs

March was a strange month. I was really organised at the beginning and had all the good intentions of getting on top of this, but getting sick completely side swiped me. But, back to it this month and applying for more writing work.

Make some sales on Etsy

Yeah, this didn’t go quite as planned. I didn’t make any sales on my Etsy which is a bummer, but I’m trying not to dwell on that and give it my all this month.

Budget overhaul

Yep, ticked this one off! Done a full budget overhaul.

Keep working on my mental health

I did achieve this and it was nice to focus on getting my head in a better space. Unfortunately there was a setback, but I’m managing it.

List new digital products

Another one ticked off, I listed a few products but not as many as I would have liked.

  1. I like that you have a list of goals for each month. I have an overall list that I am working toward daily. It feels so good to cross something off of it. I’m trying to do everything I can before school lets out for the summer and I have the kiddo with me full-time. In addition to keeping my blog growing during that time, I also want to do fun things with my kid and make a summer of memories. There’s always so much to do and almost no time.

I’m glad that you’re feeling better and ready to get back to enjoying your life!
