Taking a Look At My March To-Do List | 2022 Edition

March To-Do List | 2022 Edition
Hello March! The third month of the year is here already, how did that happen?
Anyone else feel like we completely skipped February, or just me? Time sure does fly, but February was a good month in all.
Although my mental health was low, I managed to create a plan on getting my mental and physical health in better shape. I finally took the leap and have started to make positive changes in my life.
Lifestyle change
I’ve been saying for long enough that I need to make better choices regarding my health, especially when it comes to my relationship with food.
I won’t go into too much detail here as I have a post planned where I’ll be talking through it all. But, I’ve been changing the way I view food and how I eat.
For the longest time I’ve been a binge eater and using food as a coping mechanism, no matter the emotion. So, I’ve devised a plan to be in a calorie deficit so I can make changes to my body but also help how I view food as a whole.
The past 3 weeks have seen a huge change in my diet and I’m very proud that I’ve stuck to it. I’m eating more, and haven’t cut any food out of my life but because I’m making informed decisions over what I’m eating, I’m noticing changes already. That plus moving more and getting out for walks has really impacted how I’m feeling.
Anyway, before I go on a rant, I’ll stop there because today’s post is all about my March to do list and a look back at February’s.
March To-Do List

Continue healthy lifestyle changes
As I mentioned above, I’m making changes to my lifestyle. It’s only been 3 weeks though so I want to continue making healthier choices as I don’t plan on having to start all over again.
This time I want to say “I’m still going” instead of “I need to start again”. I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired, and with these positive changes in my life I’ve noticed a big difference.
In March I want to keep up with my home workouts, eating better and the daily walks.
Go a weekend away with L & Poppy
Since last year L (Linda) and I have been saying that we want to have a weekend away just us, no kids. So, we have finally made time to go away to her family caravan for a weekend this month. And Poppy is coming with us. I can’t wait!
Apply for more writing jobs
Because my mental health has been in the gutter, I haven’t been applying for as many writing opportunities as I would like. This month I’m going to change that.
The plan is to get my media kit updated and start looking for more paid writing work.
Make some sales on Etsy
Lately I’ve been giving my Etsy a bit of an overhaul. Née products have been listed and I’m working on creating new images and videos for the ones that are on my Etsy store.
I love making digital products but I haven’t been marketing them as much as I should. So, this month I’m planning to really go at it full throttle and fingers crossed I make some sales!
Budget overhaul
With money being a bit of a worry for me recently due to not getting a lot of work, I really need to have a budget overhaul.
For the past few months I’ve not kept on top of spending or my income. Normally I’m really organised when it comes to that, so I’d like to get back on track with it all.
Keep working on my mental health
As I’ve mentioned, my mental health has been in the toilet. It’s improved since this time last month, but it’s still not where I want it to be. So, I’m going to be working on it as much as I can.
I’ve made a plan to aid in this:
- Make time each day to write down or go over what I’m grateful for.
- Take Poppy a half hour walk each day in nature
- Have 3x self-care nights a week
- Remember to take my medication
- Yoga 4x a week
- Eat 3 meals a day
- Drink 2L of water each day
- Make my bed every morning
- Open curtains everyday
- Rest when I need to
This is just a basic outline to follow as there will be more I’ll do when I can, but these are some things I definitely want to stick to.
List new digital products
Although I’ve been listing new products on my Gumroad and Etsy stores, I still have more to come.
So, this month I want to get all ew products listed so I can get my brain to focus on the new ones I want to create. I have so many ideas in my mind but I can’t start them until the others have been taken care of.
And that’s my March To-Do List. I’ve kept the list short and sweet so there is room to add as I go and make sure I have the highest chance of success.
A Look Back at My February To-Do List

Organise blog posts
This one is half and half. I did manage to get a good few posts organised, but there’s still some that need to be fixed up before posting. I’m hoping to do that this month.
Batch take photos
After saying for so long I need to Batch take photos, I’m happy to report that I did indeed have two photo days in February!
Schedule Poppy in to be spayed
Another one ticked off. Poppy has been booked in and will be getting spayed on May 2nd.
Stream twice a week
I haven’t even touched my Twitch channel in a month *oopse*. My mental health has been so low that finding the time to get on and play some sims whilst streaming has been bottom of my list.
Get car fixed
Yep, got it fixed! Very glad I did because apparently the leak was really bad and I had to get a new sump.
Take Little bear to cinema
Another yes. We went to the cinema during a school holiday and watched Sing 2. I’ll be honest, it was a fantastic movie! Highly recommend it. Little bear and I both enjoyed it and laughed a lot during it.
Start working out again
Yes! I ticked this off and I’m incredibly proud of myself because I was worried I wouldn’t force myself to actually stick to this one. I’m glad I did because I’ve come to find myself looking forward to my daily workouts, even if they are only 10 minutes out of the day.
