Taking a look at my 2024 February Goals

It’s been a while since I last posted a goals post, and I’m so stoked to be back at it!

I love writing up my goals for the month as it helps keep me on track and accountable, plus it’s nice to have something to work towards.

It’s also great getting to look back on my list and feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the month.

So without further ado, let’s dive in to my February Goals shall we?

This month my theme for my February Goals is all about change and getting my life back on track.

Being pregnant and having an awful pregnancy experience has meant my health transformation was put on hold.

There were so many diagnoses I collected over the months that meant I had to sit about and from there my health declined and I ballooned in weight.

So, all my February goals are to put me back on a path to losing weight and being a lot healthier.

I’ve not used my treadmill since I was 2 months pregnant and boy do I miss it!

My legs and back got so sore I couldn’t use it, so it fell off my list of priorities which sucked.

I was doing amazing with my 77 day challenge and wanted to continue it, but that wasn’t the case so I’d like to get back on track.

Here’s hoping I can get used to using it regularly again and that my new plan works.

To start I’ve put using it once a week on my goals list but I would like to get on it more, I don’t want to overwhelm myself though by going in too hot and heavy.

As well as using my treadmill I’d also love to get out on more walks.

This is another thing that I’ve not been able to do regularly and I miss it a lot!

So, I would like to get out more walks with the dog and baby bear as it really does help clear my mind and aid with keeping my depression at bay.

Plus it’s good to get the little guy out in the world and getting some fresh air.

Well, I’ve been awful with my water intake lately.

Actually, I’ve not really been drinking water at all, which is terrible, I know! But I’ve been craving tango for some reason so I’ve been drinking that and tea.

I hope that with my new 2L water bottle I got at Christmas I’ll be able to get back on track with my water.

This is probably one of my main February goals to be honest.

Baby brain is VERY real, and paired with fibro fog my memory has been awful.

There have been so many days where I’ve forgotten to take my medication and supplements and I kick myself every time,

You’d think after years of being on the same routine that I would remember by now but when you’re looking after a baby and got a million other things in your head, it’s easy to forget.

This is something I need to tackle though because the effects of missing them are horrible.

My body does not cope well without them, the pain gets unbearable.

So, I’ve got myself a new daily medication organisation box to help me keep on top of them from Amazon and I LOVE it!

Over the last few months my self-care hasn’t been great.

In fact, I’ve not been taking care of myself effectively in so long that I’ve kind of forgotten how to.

So, this month I need to get a hold on this and figure out what it is my body and mind needs right now.

Having a 2nd baby is hard work, so I do need to figure out a way to help myself so that I can be the best mum for my kids.

Since we got home from the hospital I’ve been dying to have a photoshoot with baby bear!

My hands haven’t been working properly though as I’ve lost some motor function and the carpal tunnel is awful, so I haven’t been able to use my camera as it’s quite heavy.

But, I want to try to push through and find a way to do the photoshoot as I want beautiful keepsake photos of my boys.

This month I’m due to attend court as a witness for the prosecution in the case against the man who tried to break into my house and many others in the area.

I’ll be honest, I’m bricking it and really wish I didn’t have to go, but I know it’s the right thing to do.

However, I don’t have suitable clothing that fits me right now so I’ll have to buy some I think.

  • Attend court
  • Get new shoes
  • Get new workout leggings
  • Update 10 blog posts
  • Make a drs appointment for hands
  • Get photos printed out from Snapfish
  • Sort out photos on hard drive

And there you have it, my February to-do list!

I’m looking forward to looking back at the end of the month and seeing how much progress I’ve made.

What’s on your to-do list for this month?
