Taking a Look at my January 2023 To-Do List
Happy New Year!
The start of a new year is here and I’m full of optimism and hope for the months ahead.
I’m actually feeling fantastic about this year so far and I hope that it continues.
As it’s a fresh start and the first to-do list of the year, it’s packed with goals that I hope set the tone for happiness and productivity.
Let’s get into it, shall we?

Taking a looks at my January 2023 To-Do list

Buy myself flowers
Every new year I like to buy myself flowers once all the Christmas decorations are down.
I love getting fresh flowers to bring a feeling of happiness. Plus, it’s a little act of self-care that I love.
List new items on Etsy store
I have a few new products made that I’m excited to get on Etsy.
I’ve been working on new products a lot recently and figuring out what direction I want my Etsy store to take.
So, I’d like to get a start on it all and get new products listed.
Create new products for my Etsy store
As part of my plan to overhaul my Etsy store, I have a few ideas on new products to make.
I’m not sure which ones will make the cut yet but I’m dedicating a day to sorting through ideas and creating a short list.
Once I know what ones I want to make, I’ll get started on them.
Make my blog a priority
Lately I’ve had so much more motivation for my blog.
I’ve spent nights writing post after post and coming up with new ideas. Blog Maintenance has been a lot more thorough and actively updating older posts.
A lot of work has gone into it and I’d like to make it more of a priority this year.
The plan is to put my all in, pedal to the metal and really go for it.
This month I’m focusing on my plans and setting a routine for keeping up with it all.
Work on blog SEO
As my blog is a top priority for me right now, I want to continue on my SEO journey.
I’ve been learning a lot about it and trying to fix up problem areas on my blog.
This month I plan on tackling 20 posts to update SEO on.
Start reading and commenting on blogs more
I’ve definitely let this slip the past couple of years.
I used to read blogs all the time and comment on them, but I’ve let life get in the way.
So, I plan to make a change and start doing it again because I do really enjoy reading other people’s blogs.

Plan little bears birthday
Little bear is going to be 9 this year, 9!!!
I can’t quite believe it, where had my little guy gone?
Once a small, shy little boy who loved long cuddles watching Disney movies is now a tall, handsome, smart and sometimes cheeky little lad who loves gaming and detests cuddles.
Time has just flown by!
Anyway, as it’s his birthday this month I need to get plans sorted. Life has just been so full on lately that I haven’t had time to set a proper budget and plan a party.
So, I think it will be a small get together with family, some cake and a lot of laughs this year.
Walk more
Although I’ve learned not to be so hard on myself when life gets busy and I don’t go on the treadmill, I can’t help but feel a little annoyed that I haven’t done it in so long.
So, I want to get back into my routine of a 1 hour walk in the morning.
When I was doing that as part of my morning routine, my product and self confidence was boosted.
I’d like to get that feeling back.
Drink more water
Again, I’ve just slipped in this department. I let life overtake me and stopped nourishing myself properly.
This month that changes.
Take my vitamins
I’ve just started a new vitamins routine to help get my health in a better place, and I want to keep that up.
I’ve got a new medication box to help so fingers crossed I don’t forget them which is an annoying occurrence haha.
Batch take photos
I need a good lot of new photos for my blog posts and Instagram.
So, I’m scheduling a day where I can focus solely on that.
Final Thoughts
And there it is, my January to-do list.
I’m so excited to get started on it all and start the year off with a bang.
It will be interesting looking back in February to see whether my plans to be more productive and proactive have been successful.
What are some of the tasks on your to-do list this month? Let me know in the comments!

You have a busy January ahead!
I always buy myself flowers, it is self care and brightens my day!
Know what you mean about walks – I used to go every morning but have fallen out of the habit but it definitely made a big difference to my moods etc.
Good luck with your January plans!
I definitely related to wanting to comment on more blogs this year and having let it slip! I enjoy being able to interact with other bloggers and often find reading other people’s experiences helpful.
