Taking A Look At My March Goals

Well hello March!

After taking a break from my February to-do list due to A LOT happening in that month, it gave me time to think through some changes.

I’ve been toying with the idea of changing up my to-do list posts for a while.

Over the past few months, I’ve felt quite detached from these posts. It feels like the same thing over and over without anything new or fresh coming to them.

I thought to myself, if I’ve been feeling disconnected from them, I can only imagine how people feel reading them.

So, I’ve decided to change things up a bit and breathe some new life into my monthly to-do lists.

Let’s take a look at what’s changing shall we?

Changes to my monthly to-do lists

Now that I’m breathing some fresh life into these posts, I’ve decided to make a few changes and tweaks.

From now on these posts will be titled “Goals” instead of “to-do” lists. This is due to my to-do lists feeling quite repetitive as it’s always the same sort of tasks on them.

By changing them to goals I can start putting down the things I’m working towards instead of everyday tasks.

I’m still keeping my “look-back” portion but instead of keeping points I’ll be chatting about special things or anything notable that happened the month prior.

As this is all new, there may be other changes along the way, but I’ll chat about them if or when they happen.

The same but different

As you can see, it’s not huge changes, but it’s enough.

This way I can experiment for a while, see what works and doesn’t, and give it a fresh feeling.

Now that I’ve covered the changes, let’s jump into my March goals and see the new format in action.

Taking A Look At My March Goals

This month my theme is abundance, gratitude and determination.

I’m sick of self-loathing, constantly feeling emotionally and physically drained and just all round negativity.

So, this month I’ve set myself goals to help me overcome these hurdles.

77 Day Challenge

I started a 77 day challenge on the 23rd February 2023 and I’m so proud of myself because I’m actually sticking to it!

I have something very exciting happening in May, so I want to feel my absolute best for it.

That’s why I created my 77 day challenge.

Here are the daily goals I’ve set:

  • Treadmill everyday
  • Drink 2l of water daily
  • Remember to take medication
  • Skincare in AM & PM
  • One act of self-care per day
  • Daily gratitude
  • 100-130g protein a day

I’m so focused on this and loving that I’ve not taken a day off and I’m seeing results.

So, I’d like to keep this momentum up throughout March.

Make sales on Etsy

This month I’m going to really work on my Etsy and I pray I make some sales.

I’ve been working hard already getting the physical products listed which has been stressful, but worth it.

So, it’s time to really turn up the heat and go full force.

This is definitely one of my main goals for March and I’m hoping beyond all hope, it pays off.

Over on my Etsy store I have Blogging Resources, Pinterest Pin Templates, Invitations, Home DΓ©cor Prints, Notepads and more!

Be consistent with Instagram

This year I want to really focus on being more consistent with social media, so this month I’m starting that process of showing up more.

Instagram is my main focus for March as I don’t want to put a lot of pressure on to keep up with them all.

This month my plan is to post regularly on Instagram, not everyday as I do like a break, but I at least want to be posting consistently.

Unfortunately my softbox lights broke so I’m limited on where and when I can take photos until my new ones are delivered, but I’m making it work.

I just hope the new lights arrive soon!

Save money

So, something really exciting is happening in May but I can’t talk about it (it’s very annoying!) because the person reads my post and it’s a surprise.

Anyway, because of this big thing I need to save all the money I can because it involves flying somewhere.

Because of that I have put myself on a no-spend challenge.

I’m only allowed to spend on necessities or things that break and are needed.

Hopefully this will help me save but the urge to spend it STRONG right now.

To-Do List

Now that I have covered my March goals, its time to take a look at my general to-do list.

As per the changes I’m making, my to-do list will now be shared as a bullet point list.

  • List new Etsy products each week
  • Create new sets of nails
  • Clean out office
  • Cut Poppy’s nails
  • Batch take photos
  • Update 10 posts on the blog
  • Journal daily

  1. Good luck with your goals! I have the same Etsy goal this month, although haven’t made a single sale which is depressing, hope you managed to tick that off your list!
