Teething is a milestone that every parent eagerly awaits but more times than not, absolutely dreads!
I know it all too well at the moment as I’ve been in this stage for what feels like forever.
My youngest has been teething since two weeks old, and here I am 9 months on (16 now in May 2025!), and it’s STILL going on.
It’s been a challenging time for both baby and myself, but it’s not been all doom and gloom thankfully.

If it wasn’t for some amazing teether toy inventions, I think I would be banging my head against a wall at this point.

Compared to my first born, baby bear is going through it with his teeth coming in.
He now has six teeth that are fully grown in, and one just poking through the gum and let me tell you, it’s been awful.
Because he was having a rough time of it I began researching and buying different teething products to test out.

The Mini Cooler and Clip from MAM has been one of my favourite teething buys.
I was looking for something that would provide baby bear a cooling effect whilst allowing him to chew.
After reading countless reviews and looking into different brands, I ultimately went with this cooling teether toy, and I’m glad I did!
We have been using a lot of MAM products with baby bear and have experienced nothing but quality, so I thought this would be a safe bet.
The MAM Mini Cooler Teether has been a god send and I genuinely don’t know what we would have done without it.
Baby bear loves to chew away at it and gets especially excited when it’s fresh out of the refrigerator.
I would highly recommend this teether toy to any parent/guardian looking for one that actually works.
Why We Love The MAM Mini Cooler & Clip:
- Good teething relief
- Has a cooling element
- Can reach the back teeth
- Curved handle, perfect for little hands
- Clip to reduce risk of loosing it
- Cools and calms the area of discomfort
What could use improvement:
- This was listed as lightweight, however Baby bear found it a little heavy to start with. Thankfully the clip is included which helped make sure we didn’t lose it.
- Once washed I panicked thinking it was leaking, but it was just trapped water that had gotten between the blue cool area and the handle. I wish this was stated as a possibility in the instructions as I was so worried about the potential risks to Baby bear had it been leaking.

These Nuby Wacky teether rings were a last minute buy, but I’m so glad I reached for them!
We were out shopping and I needed something for Baby Bear to chew on as we were going to my sister in-laws for a visit.
Thanks to mum brain I forgot to pack something so when I was in a supermarket picking up nappies, I grabbed two of these Nuby Wacky teether rings from the middle isle.
They were on special at £1.99 each and honestly they have been some of the best teethers we’ve had.
Baby bear loves his teething ring and genuinely uses one each day.
He seems to love being able to experience different textures while biting down and enjoys holding them and bashing them off the floor haha.
These were definitely a good buy and I highly recommend them to anyone with a teething baby!

With baby bear having a tough time of it, I was desperate for something to help as a few I bought weren’t making a difference.
Sure, his MAM cooler helped, but when that had to get washed or put in the refrigerator to get cold, I needed something to give him.
That’s when I decided to give this gummee glove a try.
I really liked the design and the fact it goes over the baby’s hand for ease of use. Baby bear got so excited any time it was put on him.
This Gummee Glove Baby Teething Mitten has been perfect for car journeys, going to his aunties and on long walks in the pram.

He loves getting this RaZberry Silicone Teether Toy in about his gums, especially on days where he really needs a good chew.
I also like to put this in a tub and keep it in the refrigerator to mimic a cooling effect which baby bear seems to love.
This is definitely a teether toy I think every baby needs to try! Its provided great relief for my little guy.

What could use improvement:
- I wish that in the red raspberry part was a cooling effect as it would just take this teether toy to another level. It’s fabulous as is, but this would really give it top marks in my book.
- Not necessarily a bad point, just something I wish I could buy – Different sized “teats” as this was a little big for Baby bears mouth to begin with. He still munched down on it, just couldn’t put the red raspberry in his mouth properly.

Two Pack of Teether Toys for Baby
This Two Pack of teether toys was my first ever baby purchase that wasn’t clothes!
They were on sale and I thought “why not, just buy them” and that’s exactly what I did.
Although they were the first I bought, I actually forgot where I had put them for safe keeping.
Mum brain!
So they weren’t put to use until about 2 months old.
