Patisserie Valerie – Is this the new hot spot for lunch?

Recently I went along to Patisserie Valerie to try out their new winter menu, the food and drinks were complimentary but all thoughts and opinions are my own. It was a lovely day trying out the winter menu, talking with the manager and eating some seriously delicious food.

Patisserie Valerie’s new autumn/winter menu has lot’s of dishes to choose from, with choice for everyone (Vegan and Vegetarian) you are sure to get a good meal when you visit. The team at Patisserie Valerie have created a range of winter warming dishes including Seasonal Soups, Vegetarian Chilli and a sumptuous Venison and cranberry stew bowls, both served with healthy brown rice. You will also find dishes such as Brioche French Toast smothered with either frosted berries or crispy bacon and maple syrup, Grilled Halloumi which has grilled peppers, rocket & sunflower seeds on bloomer bread, drizzled in a sweet chilli glaze and much more.

Patisserie Valerie have also collaborated with Anges de Sucre’s Reshmi Bennett (the star of Bake Off –The Professionals 2019) on their new autumn / winter patisserie collection.
Patisserie Valerie have launched four amazing new designs, crammed with bold winter flavours, just in time for Christmas 2019. There is the winter Spiced Cheesecake, a wintery twist on the Patisserie Valerie classic with a biscuit crumb base using the patisserie’s topped with an orange and secret spice cream cheese, finished with golden candied pecans; two hand dipped eclairs in shocking pink raspberry and stunning green pistachio to brighten the darkest wintery day, and the Salted Caramel & Chocolate Bombe an all butter chocolate pastry case, filled with luxury salted caramel and a rich dark chocolate ganache, topped with a chocolate cremeux dome coated in rich dark chocolate ganache, all finished with indulgent salted caramel Swiss meringue buttercream.

Having tried some of the dishes from the Patisserie Valerie autumn/winter menu I can confirm that they have really put some thought into what they are serving, the dishes are presented is such a lovely way, their sandwiches are so much bigger than I originally thought and some come with fries and you can add them on if you want which makes these dishes amazing value. We also got a selection of chocolates plus a Salted Caramel & Chocolate Bombe which oh my lord, is the thing of dreams, I loved it, I could have ate 5 of them because wow, I would strongly recommend that you get one if you pop in because, yes, so much yes.

The whole lunch experience was great, the food tasted AMAZING, the service was lovely and I can tell you with certainty that I will be back for another lunch. I would highly recommend that you check Patisserie Valerie out next time you’re looking for somewhere for a bite to eat.
